While I understand this argument, I don't think it's fair to see it that way. The route has a lenght of 90 km, which is way more than the standard german route. Just because you drive in high speed there, doesn't mean the scenery could be less dense and detailed.

Are there any differences between the CD and the DB Version of this loco (except for obvious things like repaint)?

Nah, all in all, it's around the length of the Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe-Fulda runs on SKW (80-85 km) with a length of 77 km...and for a community project a length that leave nothing to complain about. You can complain, if it were the length of the high-speed-section on SKA (around 37 km).

I hope the upgrades to the ICE include it showing the proper PZB information that is missing from the 1 and 3 (not the one from Köln Aachen).
I trust TSG not to let that slip, their standards are always high. Looking forward to this!

I would love for Nuremberg Central Station to look like it does in real life – a graceful and beautiful building from 1906, where buildings like the Willy Brandt House, the Hotel Löw, Motel One, and other striking structures would be placed. Otherwise, as a Nuremberg resident, I'm incredibly happy that Nuremberg is finally being included in TSW.

    Best regards.

That would be a big surprise to me. That area is absolutely massive and complex. Would only make sense to include it if there’s a huge amount of freight gameplay on the route. And I’m sure they would’ve advertised the inclusion as part of the announcement.

Damn, all this crying for Munich and train sets, guys, think about it. This route has started as a community project and is now releasing under label of TSG. That's great.
And 90 kilometers is really good.
The high speed line is up to 300km/h
We get S-Bahn services as well as RE services with the 101, that's a big difference to Kassel Würzburg where there is high speed only (and cargo in the dark).
And, I think that's a big point as well, with Nürnberg Hbf we get another big hub in the game which may be used for other projects as well. Everybody was happy "yay, finally Stuttgart Hbf" but Nürnberg is no worth it?

Finally I'm excited that we get a new route and the München Nürnberg Express. And I can do high speed runs with less than one hour length which on KWG sometimes is really boring

We had enough routes where we had not all informations about the whole content at the first announcement (Peninsula Corridor and Köln Aachen about freight layers, MSB about Aschaffenburg Hafenbahn and so on).

I just watched a cab-ride video today for this line and it has made me even more excited. Delighted to see the lack of endless tunnells on the High-Speed section. looks like a lot of fun. What trains run the S-Bahn services in real life, From what seen it was the 442 and 1440. I'm sure they'll reuse the 442 which is fair. I also adore the cab-car from the expert 101 which I know the regional variant is coming with. Super!

All of these examples were more than half a decade ago, right? :)

To paint a picture: Back then, roadmaps didn’t exist and new routes were announced via teaser images. I’d like to think that communication has improved a lot in the years since — especially because of the amount of content that’s coming out nowadays. I mean… this week alone, we have more preview streams than we used to have within a period of 3-4 entire months.

Developers can’t withhold too much unique information anymore, or the DLC will disappear in the endless sea of content, never to be noticed again. You just have to look at the releases from the past year or so to find multiple examples of this happening.

    last year

Flughafen Fernbahnhof wasn't included at announcement.

I mean I get the impression it’s intended to make DLC blend into all the rest, I get the impression many people also do just buy whatever is the latest for the sake of being the latest.

I think it’s upto individual developers to release their own details, such as JT do with their dev blogs. DTG are much more focused on a converter belt type production & would much rather you only be bothered with a DLC until the next one comes along.
