This service is unfinishable when you approach the red signal CP217 br 3W. Have contacted dispatcher multiple times but always got denied because "your train appears to be off path" nothing can be done here, if you pass the signal always end in SPAD failure. I've done nothing wrong and always follow the instruction before
I have sent them two tickets about this problem and they have not even acknowledge it. Im xbox and its exactly the same witch is annoying because its almost at the end of the job.
This one makes me wonder if there are any trains that could be deleted, resulting in correct pathing. This reddit post also mentions frustration with being unable to complete this service. My other idea is to load in and sit idle for an hour or two before starting to drive. The hope is that the traffic may be different at that time and the train may be routed correctly. I'll give this a shot one day soon. Either way, it sounds like this one is a pain to troubleshoot because the problem happens to so late in the service. I'll add this to the list of broken journey mode chapters too. EDIT: I'd also recommend to post this in the NEC New York - Stamford Feedback Thread. Issues posted in feedback threads seem to get fixed more often than issues posted to isolated threads in the troubleshooting forum. Also, open your own ticket. It's good to make their support aware that this issue is affecting multiple players.
Just had the same issue twice in a row and can't complete Journey mode as a result. Have submitted a ticket
If you go into map view, is there an AI train ahead of you and if so, can it be deleted. While I don’t run CSX very much I have found that this works on London Commuter and have then been able to complete a journey.
I spent some time on this one and could not find a workaround. As the reddit post mentions, the train does not get switched over before Pelham as the pathing shows that it should. The train just continues going straight, causing it to go off-path and then hitting a permanent red signal. The usual workarounds such as deleting trains don't have an impact on this pathing issue. I've attached a screenshot of the point where the switch is supposed to occur. Ticket #126483
I tried that job 3 times and tried every work around as well and got no where. I wish they would sort these kinda things out.
