Three magnets in close proximity can mean a PZB speed trap which is called Geschwindigkeitsprüfabschnitt (GPA). Generally if you are more than 15 km/h over an upcoming speed restriction then you can trigger an emergency brake. Perhaps this is what happened?

Edited to acknowledge Isaak with a much more detailed explanation just above!

ok, I see a 110km/h predicted speed limit, and speed 160 for now, and route has 1% slope for up, so I'm using level4 elec brake, I think is enough, they shall be reduce to 110 before the speed limit pad, next time I will using more brake, thx.

The route received a patch today for me on series X.

    Bahnstrecke Salzburg – Rosenheim
    • Fixed an issue where the roll brakes would not release after changing ends at Salzburg.
    DB BR 185
    • Fixed issue where the anti-slip could apply too much brake force when moving in reverse.
The scenario International Aid can be completed now! Enjoy

does this mean I can use the 185 again on my timetable mod? I recall it having issues reversing thus complicating my complicated freight moves

In the faint hope of this getting fixed someday (no need to tell me how naive I am, I know...)

On RE 79020 from Salzburg to München, leaving Salzburg at 10:07:
When approaching Teisendorf, the distant signal and its repeater show 2 amber lights (expect stop). I started braking and PZB-acknowledged the signal, PZB remained silent. Reason is, the corresponding main signal was green all the time!

Strange, I just did this service, left Freilassing on time and arrived at Teisendorf on time and for me all the distant signals for the entry and exit signals at Teisendorf were green as the corresponding main signal was too

Very odd. I left Freilassing on time too, and it sure wasn't an issue of a train being right ahead of me, there was none. PZB didn't react to the distant signal either.
    Gremlins? :o
I'll chalk it up as an one-time error in the signalling system, just like in real life :)

I will try it there too. In this thread there are two reported places with missing LF7 signs. One is between Bad Endorf and Rosenheim (westbound direction) where speed is changing from 110 to 140:

The second one is between Bergen and Ubersee (westbound direction) where the speed changes from 100 to 130.

Please DTG fix these things. It should be just a small fixes, but it is very important for the immersion.

The BR 140 shows no reaction to active 500Hz Magnets.
At least the red 500Hz Indicator-Light doesnt light up.

    Seen on Stuttgart-Rosenheim and Mittenwaldbahn.

I think it could be the direct brake because if you look on the right hand side of the cab desk there is a direct brake and it is not released its in the “hold/lap” position so maybe try releasing that brake.

Just did some early morning 628 jobs to start the day, a simple run from Freilassing to Salzburg and back.
On both trips, I saw people crossing the tracks at a leisurly pace at Salzburg Taxham station. On the first trip, right in front of my own train even. Luckily I was crawling to a stop already.

This issue seems to spread further and further across multiple routes which previously didn't have it.

DTG, please listen. This needs to be looked into and fixed ASAP. In my eyes, it's just as important and harmful to the game as the blurry textures thing. I do not play TSW to run people over.

Unfortunately, this kind of passenger behavior has been part of the game since day one, but DTG rarely if ever comments on it or offers a solution.

It's funny because they have done other things to " improve " NPC's like giving them umbrellas etc. Good luck using an umbrella to protect you from an onrushing express train.

It bothers us players but apparently It doesn't seem to bother the licensors and that's what matters to DTG I guess.

It makes the " warning " that " the railway is a dangerous place ", which shows on the initial splash screen, rather ironic, don't you think?

    BR185 incorrect brake pipe pressure
Not sure if this is unique to this route, there is something VERY wrong with the brake setup on the BR185 timetable services on Salzburg Rosenheim. When the brakes are released, the brake pipe is charged to 7 bar, which is not realistic. As soon as you make any brake application, the brake pipe pressure drops below 5 bar. This sudden pressure drop causes all the brakes along the train to go into full service. The train will then usually grind to a halt, and it takes about 20-30 seconds to release the brakes - rinse and repeat any time you want to slow down.

I suggest the brake pipe pressure should be 5 bar when the brakes are released. This is the case on all other European locos I've driven, I don't know any circumstances where the release pressure would be different (indeed 5 bar is marked in yellow on the BR185 brake pipe pressure gauge)
