Tell me about it they fixed the sound issue with DB 155 for consoles that was a problem for months why not the 47
My guess is that it will be fixed by the end of May. Just a hunch I have since they fixed the 155 tunnel issue.
I also agree. The Class 47 engine needs to be fixed because somehow it feels like the Class 47 is less powerful than the Class 45, although the two have almost the same engines. With the Class 45 you do not always have to accelerate from Manchester or Leeds with mostly full notch, with the Class 47 you need to do it.
A wee bit of light at the end of the tunnel matt said in the stream today that they are currently testing a fix for the 47 on ntp but no date is confirmed at the moment
At least you know they know about it and are looking at it. They fixed a few things with the last bug fix IIRC, I imagine they were bugs they have been looking at for some time.
The Class 47 on NTP has now been fixed on PS4. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/deadline-to-fix-the-155-and-the-class-47.21552/
So there was a update today for tsw and one of the issues that was noted that the class 47 has now been fixed now I'm at work at the moment so can anyone confirm that it is now working as it should be
I'd love to try and update but we've got thunderstorms in the area, I don't want to risk frying my PS4.
Not available yet for me - within 48 hours is the timetable: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...tes-updated-15th-june-2020.15673/#post-142318
Hopefully the mid-life overhaul has been completed, and it is just in the paint shop.... waiting to be rolled out with lovely white painted tyres, and carefully ground greaseless buffers. NSE livery would be the way to go..... Oh - and a new power unit. ;-)
If you are on PS4, then you should get the prep for the Class 20 built in with the patch, and five new creatively designed trophies should appear for that loco under TSW Trophy Set 2. You will have also downloaded 2 or 3 Gb of data, as NTP (and possibly WSR) would have been re-jigged.
After the update the 47 is much improved, performs pretty much like the 45 which is what you would expect. Many thanks to those responsible for making this happen.
