- I don’t own some every piece of dlc, will be able to buy it in TSW 2020 at a later date and still use it in TSW 2? - How in depth will the custom scenario editor be? Can I add more trains to make it a busy “rush-hour” scenario on the London Underground for example. - Can we create custom scenarios for dlc purchased in TSW such as GWE, Long Island Rail Road etc or is it solely for the new routes and any forthcoming DLC’s?
Those are good questions. Especially about the dlc from 2020. I would like to expand on one of those questions with an example. Since they did say that add on locos will be available on the new game, but what about the routes from 2020? It's good I'll still have my M3,but will I be able to run them on the LIRR in TSW 2?
Those are good questions. I'd like to add one more: -Is it possible to use the livery editor and scenario creator on previous content purchased in TSW1 and is it possible that extra add-ons for those routes might still be produced or will they be 'archived' in their current state?
I would like to know will it be possible to buy a disc copy instead of just downloading. Also what’s the actual file size as I may need To make space on hard drive
I have more questions to add. It says on the article, “ A new controller scheme will give great choices on Camera no Driving modes and allows easier access from external camera mode to enter another vehicle in your consist”. Does that mean with the push of a button we can jump into the rear cab rather than getting out and walking down to it? Will TSW 2 support the possibility of route extensions on routes released in TSW 2? Will the London Underground Bakerloo Line have working announcements? Will dropping sand for more grip now work on routes such as Sand Patch Grade? Will the 2D map be getting an overhaul or will it remain the same? Will Mastery continue in TSW 2 or will it end with TSW 2020? Are collectibles going to continue in TSW 2 or will it end with TSW 2020?
Will mouse support & other keyboard controls be supported for console & could you use raildriver for console?
I'll add my questions here, since Sam's topic is locked. - You say TSW1 addons will be perserved. What about TSW1 content that wasn't an addon (NEC/GWR/RT) ? - Will there be a disc version of TSW2 ? - Will TSW2 use the DLC that is already installed for TSW1 or will we have to download a new version of TSW1 add ons for TSW2 to use. If latter is the case: running TSW1 and TSW2 on 1 PS4 could become difficult with regards to disc space - Will TSW2 still have the substantial Timetable/service mode like TSW1 has? - Will TSW1 get another route before TSW2 launch ?
i have TSW on disc i understand that i will lose the 3 original routes from this GWE, RT and NEC. im now wondering if i will get a dicount when i buy the new game because im losing 3 routes that i paid for
Hopefully this won't be the case Dave as we have bought them after all. Let's keep fingers crossed for the answer. I'd hate to finally not be able to to run the 33 or 52 on GWE after all this time
My questions are around the scenario/livery editor... will it be possible to edit existing routes/locos from TS1 once TS2 is purchased? (ie HST, Class 47, Class 31, DMU) What I would love to do is make the Paddington - Reading route into a late 80s route. Can I change (or redesign) the liveries on the HST from GWR green, into Inter City Blue / Grey or even better IC Swallow? Can I change the GWR Class 166, into the a DMU? Can I change the class 60 Freight to a class 47? Would be amazing if so .... with just a bit of editing a whole new route era could be made? Equally so, it would be great to change the Trans Pennine routes from the 1980s routes to more recent liveries?
Will the LIRR Tunnel glitch be fixed? Lmao jk but my question is how many people will fit in multiplier? Will Ai trains be in there to make it more realistic? Also will NPC's passengers be available to enter and leave trains on all routes? Is there a photo/replay mode?
Looking at the promotional image that they have for TSW 2, which shows an AC4400CW, it's quite possible. Man, that would be awesome to have the Sand Patch Grade on console. Edit: Sand Patch Grade is confirmed for consoles. F**k yeah, thank you!
My Questions regarding TSW 2 Will a disc version of the game be made available for day one launch? IF not why not? Scenario Planner. How in depth is it, Are we looking at a Train Sim "esqe" Quick Drive app here Start London Paddington Finish Reading platform 9, Time of Day 1435 Weather xxxxx Or a an editor where pre made consists or (user made consists) can be placed. I For example Start Reading Depot Go via Maidenhead up slow Go Via Slough up slow Finish Southall Siding a Couple to WSR Coach 12432 End scenario Sort of scenario planner? Pre TSW 2020 Routes The original routes that came with TSW 2018 NEC, GWE and Rapid Transit (for people that STILL own these, as well as Rolling Stock),as well as 2020 Would these be available to use with the Scenario Planner? Also could these "scenarios" be saved on the users Console or PC for use again later on. regards Hentis
will the class 47 be fixed on the new game or will it still struggle on TPR my slow cooker has more power than the class 47
DLC fixes and game releases are not one and the same, but I did see a post from TrainSim-Steve which said that a fix was in the works for that one
Regarding multiplayer what’s it all about. Is it a a open world type thing Secondly if it’s lobby based what if someone hasn’t got a DLC will they still be able to enter
Are they going to fix any existing faults with TSW or just move on and charge for New games and new DLC?... and yes I will be buying it still
The announcement says "this is a future thing" They're fixing some things, but I don't doubt they will stop doing fixes after a while
I belive so https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/your-biggest-issues.23018/page-3#post-139324 post anything wrong in the game
They have tested the 47 on the PS4 so I expect it should / could be with us on the update to TSW 2020 when we get the twenty next week. Hentis
When I download ECW on TSW2, would the graphics/engine be that of TSW2 or would it still be the graphics and Unreal engine of TSW2020? Thank you
Still early days but I won’t be purchasing until we know what the progression to the PS5 will look like for TSW2, or if there is better optimisation for PS4 pro.
Nobody asked if DTG will make a route outside the very well-known 3 countries as US, UK and D. Canada doesn't count as its the same freight system as in the US. Otherwise the sim should be named TS- D/US/UK xD
Wondering if they will do a live stream of cex heavy haul on console since it is new to ps4 and Xbox instead of PC actually tbf have a swap once and a while some days pc and other days consoles for live streaming
