Hi Chris, Just noticed "Yards" appears twice on voting for next week's theme - second from top and fourth from bottom
Route: Peninsula Corridor Train: MP36PH-3C Sun is just BARELY low and visible enough for this to count, honestly... might have to go back and try something else
An army of red signals stare into the sunset as they stand guard over this segment of track through the Appalachians. Route: CSX Heavy Haul Loco: None
You should be able to select ‘Upload a File’ at the bottom of the thread where you craft a new note, then select the photo(s) from your device you want to upload, then select ‘Done’. After this I usually hit the buttons next to the list of pics being uploaded to save each of them in full-res in my note. The pics should appear in your note, then add your info on the Routes and Trains in the pics and hit Post Reply. That should be it.
Class 377 travelling over the London Road viaduct towards Lewes. (I couldn't decide on the best angle hence 2 posts).
...something for you to try: Check out each of the pics you’re trying to upload to make sure they’re in 16:9 format, and not in 4:3 format (possibly with black bands above and below the original 16:9 pics). I had the same ‘file too large’ problem with my pics as well early on, and it was because of the way I transferred my original 16:9 PS4 screencaps to my iPad (with a 4:3 display) for uploading to the website. If your pics are now in 4:3 format, with black bands above and below your original pics, use a photo editor to restore the pic to 16:9 format (removing the black bands) and they should then upload fine.
I had the same problem, but I solved it changing the format from PNG to JPG. Right click on the screenshot, edit it with paint and save as JPG. Then the file size should decrease and you should be able to upload it.
Hi everyone and thanks for all the brilliant entries. Every entry was excellent this week, Its certainly a tough choice and its really cool to see everyone's sunset shots. I have chosen the one that I thought fit the theme best and was a superb shot in general. Congratulations to JGRudnick for your fantastic submission, it is a well-deserved win and your submission will appear on the load screens shortly! I am really looking forward to seeing what everyone can come up with next week, so get those entries in! I have also noticed a few new comments from people who I haven't seen submissions from before, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with for next week.
