    Hey

I keep getting this problem where I claim a class 66 with a freight consist, and I can't seem to release the brakes.

I spawn in using the "spawn walking" option, and I take the 4V53 service from Acton Main Line Station to Reading, So I get in, and rey to release the brakes, but the brakes don't release.

    Am I doing anything wrong?

Keep the button pressed untill the brake meter is back at 5 bar

I did that, the brake pipe control is unresponsive to the ; and ' keys.

    Have you checked keyboard mappings?

I just ran a service in a Class 66 without issue; although I spawned inside the train.

.Key bindings don't seem to be an issue.

Also there is indeed a difference to spawning in a Service and taking over a service run by the AI as the brakes seemed to work fine when I spawned inside the train compared to allowing the train to spawn from the edge of the map, getting in it and getting into the driver's seat.

You need to spawn walking and take over the AI train.

Hmm, I have tried the class 66 today, and all seemed fine, I don't know what was going wrong before.

I think it was the update that fixed it.

Make sure to hold the brakes in the ‘release’ position, until 5bar is reached. Should make the shed move.

Well you bumped a 6 years old thread to answer someone who was last seen in 2018…

Blimey, 6 and a half year thread necro, when the OP had already said it's fixed. Impressive.
