Thameslink would be a great route. It's such a classic British route!

The only problem is that "Thameslink" isn't a route, it's a network. It's also a very large network so implementing the whole thing would be pretty much impossible, at least in one go. But I like the idea, just need to specify what part of the network would be the most interesting.

Thameslink doesn’t really exist anymore. There is the Thameslink Core, but the routes are covered as GTR because that is the 4 Operating Companies.

GTR is just the parent company over Southern, Great Northern and Thameslink. They are all still somewhat independent companies.

London Bridge to Finsbury park is no more than 10 Kilometres or 6 Miles, so that's too short. London Bridge to Stevenagecould work.

I wouldn't mind Brighton to London Victoria with the Thameslink class 700 running between East Croydon and Brighton. Also means we could get the class 387 for Gatwick Express and the class 455 doing the suburban southern services from Victoria to Sutton/Epsom Downs.

to be honest, if they added Selhurst Depot, they might as well add Norwood Junction where some other Thameslinks stop at. It would make sense because Selhurst being the biggest of its type in the country, and it also playing such a role for Maintenance etc.

It would be cool to take a train out of/into selhurst depot if there was a scenario or 2 of that
    Or even empty movement's
I've sat at Norwood junction and see Souheastetn 377s move from mainline to sidings then moving again and found it quite interesting

Yeah south Eastern run the odd service through to Redhill and down to Tonbridge. Would be
cool to have that although I would think it unlikely

I think it would be impossible for them to make the route without adding Selhurst depot, given that its right next to the junction at East Croydon. In the original London-Brighton in train sim classic both the depot and Norwood Junction were included so its likely they'd be included again if it was made for TSW2
