Paradox: A Game So Good It Is Bad

I am very happy, the content from TSW2020 goes to TSW2. But there is a catch! I spent the first several dozen hours on new routes. Love at first sight. "Minor" (huehue, CSX ...) shortcomings did not spoil my fun, and it is still (150h +) going on. This is probably the project entitled Preserved has fallen. The old content simply looks pale compared to the successor. This shows how seemingly imperceptible, but still a big change it was. My beloved RSN in tandem with the BR155 - well, it's probably not the same. SKA has set the bar so high! I guess I'm getting old... :D

Either they've got the content too good, or there's something wrong with Project Preserved.

    List is long.

The AFB on BR 185.2 DB is almost completely bugged. Usually, here on TSW2: Preserved RSN, it decrease the speed by additional 10km/h (80 to 70? Afb stop to brake at 60km/h, 10km/h under the selected speed) but for more powerful deceleration, for example from 100km/h to 60km/h, AFB stop to brake the train at about 20km/h, then increase the speed up to 60km/h as selected. Is it playable?
Sure, but only with AFB switch to Off.

I still dont know if on BR 143 DB its the same...

The BR 143 works fine on AFB. But it has a greyed out Ebula monitor...

    No :D

AFB on BR 143 DB work correctely in deceleration BUT run always about 10km/h over the selected speed in acceleration, then decrease automatically til selected speed. (from 60 to 80? Reach 90 then decrease til 80) <- that happened because I used the tractive/braking force effort to 120% and on loco without cars

    update

Above I tested the loco without cars. I noticed that if I reduce the tractive/braking force effort to 50% the AFB working correctely. Both, in acceleration and deceleration.
With the cars (RegionalExpress composition) it working correctely if I set the tractive/braking force effort between 90% and 100%. So I suppose it depend on the weight of the train. This looks cool! And working fine.

Unfortunately the BR 185.2 DB has not the tractive/braking force effort lever.

If you want more, start a random service and hold the key to contact the dispatcher!
Signal aspects will changing color like a Christmas tree, randomly. (same as on preserved HRR. And I can imagine there is also the Sifa bug known as stand up/sit on seat again. But I cant test it at moment, because Im fighting with the Microsoft Store bug...about the "changing location in UK" tip, to recognize the new contents ingame.)

The PZB acknowledge button in the BR 155 does not seem to work most of the time. I tried pressing it just before reaching the signal and holding it until I passed it, and pressing it just after passing the signal. I can read "acknowledge" on the HUD every time, but I still get the emergency brake application.

Try press and hold it for about ~1 second after passing a signal. I have various strange habits in my head regarding TSW and although I do not remember the genesis - I have the impression that you have to do this :D

Yeah, you need to press and hold the PZB buttons a bit longer on the BR 155.

Tried it a few more times. Tried with long presses, short presses, several presses one after the other ... it just does not work.

Here is a video. Sorry about the sound. The latest nvidia driver is not playing nicely with Shadowplay.

    New video with sound:

Old video (with bugged sound): Here

PS: Youtube is processing the HD version of the video. Image quality will improve when it finishes (2K video).
PS2: Tried doing the same thing in TSW1 and I get the same result.
PS3: Nvidia published a hotfix for the sound problem with the drivers last week. If anyone else has the same problem, you can download it here.
PS4: Added new video with sound.

I have the same problem with this service, in the same place :)
I think this is a bug. There is nothing super-special in this junction.

    100% bug.

It sounds strange because with the BR 185 DB and BR 143 DB the same signal aspect (same service too) working fine, without stops the train.

But I discovered another minor bug...

Stressed by all these bugs my character (the 1st in character creation) has lost all his hair :|
Can we consider this a bug? lol
