I’m just having a look at RSN and am doing the ‘Freight Exchange’ scenario for what’s probably the millionth time. I’m not imagining it am I? The loco sounds are a dogs dinner. They keep cutting in and out, playing at the wrong time etc. Or is it just me?

You’re not alone. The sounds in the preserved collection are well and truly broken. I don’t know how they’ve managed to do this, but I remember Matt saying in the livestream for Sand Patch Grade that they had to tweak the SDP audio because of the new engine update. Maybe the new engine has screwed with the sound recordings or how they are played in the game.
The M7 Horn is quieter than the noise of the handle moving in the cab... Something clearly needs tweaking
'Hope all these sound problems are on the ASAP list. Broken scenarios are an element of the decor, but the sound spoils my fun a bit...
Can someone confirm whether they experience sound cutting out for a split second in regular intervals on either Ruhr-Sieg-Nord and Köln-Aachen? This usually happens for me going at relatively high speed in the preserved collection locomotives like Br185 or Br143 (I haven't tried the ICE3 since after the last patch). At first I thought it was stuttering like tiles being loaded in like in TS2020 but my fps seems relatively stable when this happens. It's definitely new compared to TSW1 or TSW2 pre-stage 2 of preserved collection.
