Cool to see IOW in the next release, albeit with no date as yet. Fingers crossed it’ll come in the next two weeks.

In the released section you note [Unlisted Fix] Game hangs on loading screen.

However, the game still hangs on the loading screen. It took me nearly a minute to get into the game yesterday.

The baby bullet interlocking issue on the HUD also remains.

TGV Duplex is Listening since day One for TSW 2, but it always need too long to adding route and Loco DLCs into the game

The red traction box issue on the baby bullet has not been fixed despite you saying it has.

Given how many issues are being reported on the technical forums, it's disappointing that only a few bug fixes are listed on this latest version of the roadmap, which I take to mean, everything else is being ignored.

It's a pity, additions compatible with SKA will not come together (MSB -> RRO). Important, something's going on :)

Rapid Transit should delayed and change with Rhein Ruhr Osten for available time Schedules for S-Bahn Cologne

At least we will have a few extra regional express services and freight in cologne hopefully to keep us going until Rhein Ruhr Osten comes available

Good to see stuff moving up, especially the TGV. Also, really like the solution to showing the changes since the last one, good idea!

It’s not on PS4 Pro either. Although to be fair, after hearing they weren’t in the game, I haven’t bothered looking for them. I’ll have a look next time I’m on.

Good to see that Isle of Wight has moved up, so looks like its ready next update.

The update after that though is looking a bit thin. I wonder if this will be just a small patch or if its just 'to be determined' what else is coming with it

All could be different in two weeks. They might just not want to commit to anything in this release.

Disappointing that there's nothing actually new on the table this week (except for new fixes/improvements to work on). But of course, fixes comes first than making new ones (Goal of the year right?). So I got nothing to say until the next roadmap update.

There is a lot in this roadmap update. I see quite a few bugs in there for investigation (including a couple that I have reported and a few that I haven’t yet encountered) and this I think is one of the most important parts of the roadmap. Once something is listed there for investigation or is further up the list and being worked on, we as players can relax a little on pointing them out or arguing a case for them in the forum. That is most welcome and is making me happier.

Interestingly the red signal issue on Cement Circle is still listed, but this works now. At least in TSW 2.

Nice to see the LGV Méditerranée: Marseille - Avignon route has moved up into "In Production". This is one I'm really looking forward to. Not sure if you've answered this or not before DTG Protagonist but can things move up and down within each section (In Production, Upcoming etc..)?

Any kind of ETA on Miles Platting and Cement Circle for TSW2020? It’s been reported Cement Circle is fixed already in TSW2 so it can’t be that far off can it?

I haven’t tried again but reports of it being fixed is good news and it is planned for a fix in TSW2020 so maybe it still isn’t fixed there. I notice there are a lot of unlisted fixes on the roadmap meaning some things are fixed quite quickly. There are of course many issues to get through but I am happy to see progress. It has been difficult to see in the past what has been taken on board by the devs because some bugs get more notoriety than others on the forum.

And the Isle of Wight route is coming soon.

From what has been said elsewhere it takes a team of devs 3-6 months to create a route. TGV was previously in Planning and has just moved to "into production" - so I'd say at least 3 months before it's ready.

Meh, nothing new exciting for me in this roadmap..

On a side note , will the CSX Dash 8 come in both YN2 and YN3b schemes like the other CSX locos?

I like the addition of the indicators for items that have moved up in the list and also the note about what was added and removed. Makes it very clear to read. Personally I am waiting for NTP to make it into TSW2 and when the preserved collection is complete I am wondering what that dev time will be used for. Fingers crossed it will be transferred to making continued improvements to preserved collection items under Adam's team. So there will be one team making new routes and locos and one team looking after the existing content. We can then see a continued balance in the roadmap of these items.

Nice to see the roadmap project coming along. What about using a symbol instead of "[NEW]"? Maybe the ▲ pointing right

There's several fixes that they've listed as improvements:
    • [NEW][Improvement] Stop Points on Bakerloo Line are not aligned with the platform monitors
So having the stop points on in the correct place is a feature improvement as opposed to a fix?
    • [NEW][Improvement] Scenario Start indication issue in Scenario Designer
It even mentions "issue" in the description...

And then some of the fixes that haven't been fixed:
    • [Unlisted Fix] Traction lock icon remains red despite doors being closed and brakes released (MP36PH-3C)
    • [Unlisted Fix] Game hangs on loading screen
    Both are still broken.

And then tough luck if you're on xbox, they forgot to add this one to the patch:
    • [Improvement] Expansion of East Coastway train formation options in the Scenario Designer

Next Arrival doesn't mean it will be out bevor the next roadmap update. And since they have not even startet the hypetrain for Isle of Wight yet, i would say the next update is >2 weeks out. I guess release on 1. October?

This means the associated item has moved up from the previous section on the roadmap. So for example, from planning to in production.

They said it in their last stream but this includes decal groups/decals mirroring, Hex colour codes and better transparency

I've created a version in Google Sheets, which I think is a much cleaner way of presenting the information. It's colour-coded by status: green for next to arrive, light blue for upcoming, yellow for in production, light purple for in planning, and light grey for investigations into reported issues/bugs. All of the information is the same as in the Roadmap article, I don't have any special insight or magical powers unfortunately, but I think this is an easier/quicker way of seeing where things are right now. I'll be updating it as and when DTG update the roadmap.

EDIT: I've added filter views to the Google Docs spreadsheet, so you can now restrict results by type (route, loco, fix/improvement/upgrade), by region (North America or Europe), only results pertaining to Preserved Collection content, or only content being developed by 2nd/3rd parties.

Next spring/summer basically. There are some other stuff in there as well and who knows how things work out route wise.
Realistically I expect it around spring time and hope that we have a nice surprise for Christmas with something else after Isle Of Wight. Just hope not the TGV route as it's not Christmassy. Hamburg to Lübeck would be great for Christmas and Münich to Augsburg as Augsburg is magical during Christmas period, would fit right in there.

Plus SouthEastern as well. I would say, no matter the sequence of DLC releases, next 6 to 12 months is definitely interesting and exciting in TSW.

Damn, forgot Swiss route. Now that would be great for Christmas but I doubt it's happening.

Thats easy to do where there's multiple 3rd party developers working on content, not to mention some DLC for Train Simulator is sometimes previously 3rd Party content that gets published on Steam. The last few releases, since May, for Train Simulator have been made by...
    Route - RSSLO
    Loco - Travel By Train
Route + Scenarios - High Iron Simulations
    Loco - Travel By Train
    Route - Dovetail Games
Route + Loco - Just Trains
    Route - Bossman Games
    Loco - RSSLO
    Route - Union Workshop
    Loco - Dovetail Games
    Route - Milepost Simulations
    Scenarios - High Iron Simulations
    Route - Rivet Games
    Loco - Dovetail Games
    Loco - Rivet Games
    Reskin - The Loco Shop
    Route - Just Trains
    Reskin - The Loco Shop
    Package - Dovetail Games
    Route - Dovetail Games
    Route - Just Trains
    Scenarios - High Iron Simulations

So unless more developers join in developing content for TSW 2, I don't see a good steady stream of DLC hitting every month.

Unlikely to happen. DTG have said there won't be frequent updates (I believe because of console update scheduling) , but rather bulkier updates.

Edit: remember TS isn't available on console.
