A couple of meters after Km 62.0 there is a speed limit sign which reads "10" meaning a speed limit change to 100 km/h, however the HUD gives a 120 km/h speed limit just after passing that sign, so, if we believe the HUD information to be correct the sign should say "12". This is the sign in question, my train is not visible as it travelled a couple hundred meters forwards and is just out of sight, but I'm still in the speed limit section enforced by that sign and the HUD gives a max speed of 120 km/h in contrast with the sign. As said before the sign is just 5/10m after Km 62.0 Direction of travel Aschaffenburg towards Gemünden. If needed I can provide a clip of the HUD speed limit changing to 120 km/h but I think it's not really needed...
Really??? How did I fail to notice that? I've run this route a lot on the old sim... I guess it's just me starting to rely more on signs and less on the HUD
there are older threads: january 2020 https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/main-spessart-wrong-speed-limit-signs.20033/ march 2019 https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/main-spessart-bahn-issues.15076/page-2#post-70216
Thanks, I guess there is no need to do a ticket then since it's a well known issue... but that's odd, how hard can it be to change a sign?
Maybe Adam can explain (or now when his team exist, they deal with it in time DB BR 204 go out as preserved) As issues are are handled in way: More Publicity - More Priority, this post can help.
I’ve already suggested via an extensive bug report that DTG play test the routes using the signalling and signage on the route rather than just relying on the HUD. That would go a long way to fixing a load of issues. (You see it on their streams all the time, slowing down for signals the driver wouldn’t even have seen yet.). I know the HUD makes up for not having proper route knowledge, but playing as a simulator isn’t great at the moment.
