How did u get the IoW so early? Oh wait, aren’t ur in a diff time zone since here it’s still Wednesday lol. Anyways, I would like to ask a question: what livery is that?
Started this the other day. Still need to cut down on the layers a little and a few wee bits to fix. Santa Fe SD40 to go with my Warbonnet AC4400CW. Santa Fe letterings not 100% but I'm at 292 layers overall so I cant add much more detail.
That is handsome! I'm more fond of this retro livery theme than the default theme that came with the add-on. Nice work.
If anyone is interested in a little bit of friendly competition... https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/unofficial-livery-contest.25413/page-2#post-192492
New Haven painted Connecticut Rail Talent. I think I'm going to do a Septa or NJ Transit next, may as well do them for all the Northeast Corridor! It's interesting how small these are when you see them next to the LIRR M7s.
The IRIS320 is a measurement TGV for HSL inspection using an old TGV Réseau out of the service. The SNCF is leasing a BR406 M for inspection in the LGV EST and in Germany ( purely fictional of course ) you can admire the high quality of letters resolution well done DTG ( sarcasm of course )
I never fail to be impressed with the liveries published on here. Given the limited functionality of the livery editor, there are some really stunning creations. I’m much jealous.
Yes Greenroad I have noticed the same! It is strange and ridiculous. As all logos on the real freight cars are on that area. My suggestion for DTG is they include a rectangle on the second left "column" of the car in order to put the railroad name logo there!
Two more USA freight cars... Tank car white but with the middle in black - Real wagon! And...TTX Autorack. But with the logo in the only place it can be included. Not in the real one unfortunately
Some of the designs on here are amazing, really well done. I can't be bothered to put the time and effort in. Keep up the good work.
just bought the game 2 days ago for PS4, I had the old Train Sim 2020 version on my pc. I love the livery editor wish it had a few more copy/paste options, also save a color to be used again. Anyway here's a couple of my first attempts.
Dang, all of these liveries here are very artistically done! I like them all, there very creative. Great job to everyone who has made a livery on this thread!
Haven't spent much time painting recently, due to work. However I forgot I finished up this SP GP38-2. Wanted to kind of recreate a GP40P-2 pulling a commute train, but couldn't set up the consist on the Peninsula Corridor.
I set up a consist in the scenario editor using both available tracks in Cumberland, since they are not restricted by automatic switches or signals. 1 train is a light engine GP38-2 consist, the other the F40PH with the Nippon cars consist. Then you just remove the F40 from the Gallery Cars and move it into another siding with the GP38, then couple the GP38 to the consist.
