Santa Fe SD40 from me!
Okay I have to ask, how did you get the hand rails as a separate color? I keep getting my logos bleeding through, even with trying to use the stupid projection tool!
Projection, top slider all the way to the right, bottom slider to almost the least it can go to the left.
Shoutouts to this weeks winner vogelm10!
Next weeks winner will be decided on 10-21-20
there was only one entry this week
I need motivation I don't know what to make maybe a Milwaukee road or Wisconsin and southern
google "train" or go to http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/
Yay win by default! The best kind of win!
well I guess there was no completion. I mean this is not the first-time this thread almost died with the help of zbartelt08 we revived it so there are a ton of amazing liverys in the livery designer creations thread but this one seems to be dead
shinkansen 300 series on a BR 406
I think this tread has died now
I hope not but no one else has posted in a while
Are we going to announce who won or what?
you win no coemption
Well that sucks
Sorry, no one else seems interested.
We have to try at least thanks for trying
If nobody posts by Friday then the tread is officially dead maybe permanently
Wisconsin Central GP38
Theres maybe not enough content in livery editor yet to keep this thread going. Iv no used the editor for weeks as I dont want to do anymore US loco's. Maybe get a revival if some of the preserved stuff gets added!
You may have just saved the tread and I do like that loco it reminds me of where I grew up
well the preserved livery thing got moved up in the roadmap
I know it is actually a 53' wellcar, but until we get real 48' ones, this will have to do to add visual variety
San Joaquin Valley Railroad G&W Paint GP38-2 #2046
Actually, I believe that it is 56'. At least that is what the default DTGX livery says.
This week JGRudwick won with the 48' foot intermodal car congrats on the win all new posts under this will be counted as submitted items for the next week's competition congratulations JGRudwick on the win ( btw the photo is not here I can't figure out how to put photos from the tread on my phone then here )
Hmm, I've always known wellcars to be designated based on the length of the longest container that the car can carry. I've only ever seen 53', 48' and 40' stenciled on the sides.
Seems like another thing DTG got wrong.
They do exist, but are quiet rare. They were made i think to hold 4 28ft containers for UPS but the idea never took off. I also can't find a prototype photo of the 4 28ft containers.
But DTG should have used the much more common 53' cars. How did they come across this car. I have never heard of one before today. And then why did they decide that a 56' wellcar was the best one to use as a generic car?!
Sorry for the short rant. I had to get that out.
Honestly I also don't understand stand I have never seen a 56' well car which is don't know why not my city is a intermodal factory but no matter what I have never seen one even when i lived somewhere else never saw them then again Wisconsin Southern and CN dont haul intermodal though there but I have watched videos of intermodal trains and never saw those well cars
They are so obscure that the only place I could find good photos of them are in this album on rrpicturesarchives
But I think most if not all have been resized to either 53ft or 40ft service (Like the 48ft Well Cars)
Well... that's a good one! Can you please post more photos of it?
Also you can search for my previous uploads in the same thread
I figured I should show a example of what you can do this is on a 72 stock it's going to change
Finished the Amtrak on 72 Stock
No winner this week no one posted so yeah if you need ideas look at others
I wanted to put the 1962-73 helmet logo on the nose, but I don't have enough layers left.
Hey could we have one more attempt for a contest if you have something you would like to submit you are free to please if you show a livery me or Jamesomin (sorry if I misspelled) we announce Next Friday 2 pm EST
Yeah! I'm just about to finish a couple liveries.
