I'd love to see any North West England route involving Liverpool/Manchester maybe include routes to Blackpool and Preston as these are local to me. I'd also like to see a Berlin S Bahn route, S1 or S9 through the Hauptbahnof maybe. Love that Journey!!
How about ECML set during the change between steam and diesel so you could have green Deltics, green 47s etc and steam loco(s) legitimately running side by side?

If no one knows this but Maidstone is the garden of Kent so it would be epic to add the Victoria to Ashford International line via Maidstone East with the class 466
I thought Kent was the garden of England. I have never heard of Maidstone as being called the garden of Kent, I know it is the county town.
I'm going to sneak in a mention to the Cornish Mainline. It's being discussed in this thread: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/cornwall-pnz-to.22352/ The CML runs from Plymouth to Penzance, in the UK. It is 80 miles long in it's entirety, so have to choose the best bit to become a route. Everyone's favourites are being discussed, from the Royal Albert Bridge just west of Plymouth at the start of the line, to the numerous branch lines that meet the mainline at various points. Personally, I hope for the section from Penzance to Truro, which gives a primary station in Penzance, Truro where the line meets the Falmouth branch line and the depot at Long Rock. Come join the discussion.
Mostly, London Victoria/Bridge to Brighton. 373 (E300) Eurostar: Any route (e.g. London to Paris). Southeastern: London Charing Cross to Sevenoaks (Tonbridge) or any route. WCML: Any route. ECML: Any route. LGV: Rhône Alpes extension to Lyon/ LGV Atlantique/or any route. SWML: London Waterloo to Southampton Central.
My only concern about the NY subway is whether their MTA license would require them to create an idealistic, overpolished version of the subway that won't feel anything like the actual subway. I'm not sure where you're from in the US, so I may be preaching to the choir, but if it ain't dramp, moldy, grimy, and barely being held together...it's not going to feel like the NYC subway. But it needs to have the right admosphere in the textures, and lighting, and...the atmospher. A detail and atmosphere that while reality, probably isn't one that the MTA would like being represented in any degree of accuracy in a game. My fear it we would end up with a highly sterilized subway. Edited by DTG Natster - removed inappropriate language.
I'm from Harlem. I know my Subway system. And yes, it would need to be dark and gritty. With leaking ceilings, dirty platforms, and LOTS OF PEOPLE. Except when in the outer boroughs at night, then it needs to be completely empty with a suspicious passenger lurking around the platforms. The MTA probably wouldn't want to see the system represented like that, so it comes down to just a bit of grime and dirt on the walls and stuff to add a bit more detail. I wouldn't be too upset if that's how it was represented, but they at least need to get the lighting and the sounds right. The tunnels can't be completely blacked out, there need to be some lights in them. The stations can't be overly bright, but they also can't be too dark. There needs to be a lot of Track Clanking noise when Underground, and even more when on Elevated Tracks, along with the "Hum" of the old SMEE Rolling stock with the R62/A's. The Traction Motor sound of the NTT's needs to be represented properly. I want to hear the amazing sound of the R142A's recreated perfectly. And finally, the ambience of the passengers, rat noises, and the sound the turnstiles make when you swipe your Metrocard. All of that needs to be represented properly.
Haha, ok cool. I'm from Buffalo and have been down to the city more times than I can count. Not a local like you, but know my way around well enough.
mattdsoares That's twice today I've edited your messages that have contained inappropriate language. I don't doubt you will have been well aware you were breaking the forum rules. If I see it again I won't edit the message, I will just delete it.
