Today, I am suggesting another NYC Subway route. My home line, the Lexington Ave Line. It runs with the 4/5/6 Trains and has some unique stations and service patterns. Here is a video for the route suggestion. Please consider adding this route to the game. We don't have many American Passenger routes and we don't have ANY North American Subway Routes.

This video linked below contains the bulk of information about the Route, Rolling Stock, & Service Pattern.

The 4 Runs between Woodlawn and Crown Heights - Utica Av with late-night service to New Lots Av.

The 5 Runs between Eastchester - Dyre Av and Flatbush Av - Brooklyn College. During Rush Hours, the 5 Train terminates at Bowling Green, and during Late nights, the 5 runs as a shuttle between Eastchester - Dyre Av and E180 St.

The 6 Runs between Pelham Bay Park and Brooklyn Bridge - City Hall. Between 8 AM and 1 PM, the 6 runs Peak Direction Express services to Manhattan, and between 2 PM and 8 PM, the 6 runs Peak Direction Express services to Parkchester.

This would be a cool idea. Although if they can't get the Bakerloo line timetable sorted out, I fear they may not be able to capture how busy this line is. Heck the Lexington Avenue Line is the busiest line in the nyc subway system. Also they need to improve passengers as well to capture how busy this line is

Yeah, hopefully they get the dispatcher upgraded. In order to have this route, I'd even take a dumbed down timetable with the current Pandemic Schedule. I'd love to sit at Brooklyn Bridge or 14 St and watch the 4/5/6 go by.

Oh, I'll get to them. I'm going in order. Seventh Ave Line first (1/2/3) now the Lex, next time it'll be Flushing (7) and then the A/C/E.

Give me a few weeks. I'll have one for the 7, but first... let me find my master key for the 1996 Stock and the PA5's. Then, I'll need to look for my conductor key for the R188's, because I know that the 7 Line is loved by so many NYC Railfans.

Ok, I take that back. Apparently, the PA5's aren't as popular as presumed.

I like how you tell me to suggest bigger better things but then again you go and suggest the same thing as me. I give you props though we do need NYC Subway on TSW2. I also live on the 6 line. All I want is more American routes freight and passenger. I've had the game since the original TSW came out on July 24,2018 there last add on for America was the M3 for LIRR so im just sad that there hasn't been much American action in the game on theres been more British and German action. Sorry for trouble :)

Excellent idea and if they want to do this in the years 2013-2016 your 6 train will be a mix of R142As 7211-7590 which are now on the 7 train and R62As.

I'd rather it be set in the current times. I'll be able to put an R142A on the 6 with the Scenario Planner. I'll run it as a 4 via the Pelham Line.

Thanks for telling me and I I had to put it in that way because My mother used to take that route from 125th street to Buhre Ave in 2013-2016. If you want to see what the express run looks like here is a 2013 railfan window made by Orion V 9967

I use the Line all the Time. I’ve actually been in the cab of an R142A & R62A (6) Train before. I am well acquainted with the Lex.

Them 4/5 Trains be getting up to speed between 86 - 125, and them 6 Trains are no joke on the Pelham Express.

Wow, and for the 59th street station on the IRT East side line the express platforms are below BMT Broadway tracks than on top of them are Local platforms. If you have the BMT Broadway DLC loaded at 59th street IRT Lexington Ave you're going to get a prompt saying would you like to take over this service towards Coney Island Stillwell Ave R160A-2 R160B Siemens R68 & R68A N train Service. Provided your IRT Lexington Ave service terminates at 59th street due to a GO.

Ahh yes the familiar NYC Subway. I still have my hopes up and maybe eventually either a 3rd-party developer or DTG might make this possible. Keep up the activity. People are seeing and clearly people want this intricate system.
If we can have the Bakerloo line in London why not the NYC subway, albeit a few selected lines. I am onboard with this and hopefully someday we will get DLC content for NYC subway lines.

We definitely need more American support in TSW, just look at how many British and German routes and locos there are compared to American dlc! The NYC subway would be very welcomed by the American community, no matter what line it is we need this route!

Yeah, the NYC Subway is a very unique and interesting system. If done right it could become one of the best routes in the game. As you've said, we've gotten the Bakerloo Line already, and while there were some issues with it, it showed that DTG can make a Subway Route. Any NYC Subway line could work well in the game (By any line, I mean the full trunk line), especially something like the Lexington Ave Line with the Express/Local sections. With there being a drought of North American Passenger Routes, something like this could jump-start a series of Passenger routes coming for the game.

We know that it is an extremely popular system, there is a reason it was #9 on the list of top routes the community wants and #2 in American Routes, so the demand is there, DTG just needs to make it.

The biggeest thing about these lines is that they all start and end in different boroughs throughout the 5 boroughs in NYC and about half of all 3 meet parallel to each under the city of Manhattan making for intense adrenaline rushing experience, racing past local services as an express service similarly to the latest german dlc's.The 4- 5-6 lines has the same concept as bakerloo line where you have to,like sam says Grip IT & RIP IT ,same concept for stopping.

Scenery consists : parks with jungle gyms/handball court/basketball courts, schools, stores, gas stations, malls, tunnels, elevated subway tracks, half constructed tall buildings, graveyards respectively being authentic and alot of wear and tear on stations and infrastructure due to the 4 seasons of various weather's pelting 1930's post wwll made foundations and tracks.Definitely new feel to operate between the older R62A or the modern R142A above 30 feet in air.One more thing before i ramble your eyes out lol sorry. The night being illuminated by surrounding buildings, giving some light onto the tracks.

The sounds throughout the routes are super loud as all subways in NYC share equally, watching any NYC train video will give you good idea of what each train sounds like.

The 4 train have up to 28 stations

Well said but if they wanted a Cab view there's one for the R62 which is made by Kawasaki in Kobe Japan final Assembly Yonkers, NY found on 1 & 3 trains as the IRT West Side Line. Not sure if the R62A Conductor Cab 1, 6 & Times Square Shuttle Trains will be identical to R62 1 & 3 trains cab? Here's a R142A/R142 Cab picture that needs to be put into the game taken by Steve Kriesler on https://www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?3582. Note that the R188 has ATO Buttons added that also applies to former 6 train R142As 7211-7590 now on the 7 train.

I'm happy to be recognised with the "We want NYC Subway" plea.
I'm not an expert on which stock ran on what lines but a personal preference would be a line that saw Red Bird, R62 and the newer type of stock, so that there's a chance all three of those types can appear.

I'm very familiar with the 4 & 5 line especially being that they are respective lines that I have grown up on living in Brooklyn and I have also seen a variety of subway stock run on these lines from the R26 and R28 red birds R62 and now the current R142 which now dominant the 4 and 5 lines between Brooklyn & The Bronx.

Ooh the old Redbirds. Unfortunately, I was never able to ride one of these trains, but I do see why so many people love them for the nostalgic feeling they give off. Personally, I like the R142A's that replaced them on the 4/6 Lines, and the R62/A's/R142's that replaced them on the 2/5. (Pre-Rolling Stock Changes)
