    Hello DTG,
    I decided to suggest this route called the West Coastway. The route will be Brighton -> Littlehampton when the 313 is released. This should be a very good route to merge with the East Coastway, If this happens, the route together can be called “Coastway” Routes should be:

    Brighton -> Littlehampton ( fast )
    Brighton -> Littlehampton ( Slow )
    Depot services for day, night
    Littlehampton - Victoria ( Ends at Hove )

    The routes are formed of Southern and will be a popular route in the South Coast.

    Yes! Would Portsmouth be too far?

    It only depends. Because East Coastway was Brighton - Eastbourne, but it would be good for Portsmouth services.

    I think it's feasible. Brighton to Portsmouth is 45 miles (call it 50 with the branches to Littlehampton and Bognor Regis) which seems to be the route length that's being aimed towards now.

    Full journey to Portsmouth would be almost an hour and a half, thats quite a lot of time but I with the shorter services to Bognor and Littlehampton which branch off would add variety with services. The problem with this route is that it wouldn't be made for ages because they only just did a route in that area. It won't give players enough variety in UK at the moment with routes and trains. But still, good suggestion, and I would buy it if it came out.

    To be fair 395 services are an hour and a half on sehs so I don't think that's an issue. I think the west coastway would be a good route to have. Maybe the east coastway can be connected at Brighton

    Would there be much point? I don't know any services that go through and I think the West coast way services use their own dedicated platforms; though it would be cool to link the two I don't see much point unless there's freight that use both.

    Javelin services for me are an hour, I don't have a problem with services taking longer, it's just quite a long time for a journey, it's the same time as a SPG journey are they are long. I want it to be connected too, it'd be fun changing at Brighton onto the West Coastway Platforms

    Fair point but it would make Brighton much busier and the player could transition from a east coastway service to a west coastway service and vice versa at Brighton

    There is already 377s going into West Coastway portals, so I don't think it would make the station too much bigger.

    It would be fun! I don't know if any trains arrive from the West and depart to the East (or vice versa)

    That is true but I think there would be more west coastway services that isn't replicated at Brighton station on East Coastway

    Great suggestion, I hope this gets made.
    There's no need to merge this with East Coastway, as there are no services that go from West to East, all terminate at Brighton.

    The class 700 probably wouldn't be included with this route, as it is only used for peak-hour services to Littlehampton. For a route at Brighton with the class 700, see my Brighton Main Line suggestion.

    It would be good to have it as a layer if a 700 were made

    I know but instead of going to a route to route via the hub menu, you can merge it to be much quicker instead of going to the hub.
