    Brighton Main Line

This route consists of the Brighton Main Line (from London Victoria to Brighton), with branches to West Croydon, Reigate, Lewes and Hove. The train operating companies (TOCs) that run on this line are Gatwick Express, Southern, Thameslink and Great Western Railway. The route is 65.3 miles in total.

    Class 313 EMU

The class 166 would be available as layers for those who own Great Western Express DLC.
The class 313 would be available as layers for those who own the Class 313 DLC, when it is released.

    Stations
    This line has 33 stations:
London Victoria, Battersea Park, Clapham Junction, Wandsworth Common, Balham, Streatham Common, Norbury, Thornton Heath, Selhurst, East Croydon, South Croydon, Purley Oaks, Purley, Coulsdon South, Merstham, Redhill, Reigate, Earlswood, Salfords, Horley, Gatwick Airport, Three Bridges, Balcombe, Haywards Heath, Wivelsfield, Plumpton, Cooksbridge, Lewes, Burgess Hill, Hassocks, Preston Park, Brighton and Hove.

    Services
For those who own the East Coastway DLC, there might be the opportunity to merge the routes together.
Stations in brackets are where the service would continue to if the route was extended further.
Stations in italics are where services would continue to if the player owns East Coastway.
The rolling stock is indicated in red.
The frequency, in trains per hour (tph) is shown in
    blue.

    Southern:
    • London Victoria to Hove (Littlehampton) 377 2tph
    • London Victoria to Lewes/Eastbourne 377 1tph
    • London Victoria to Lewes/Eastbourne (Ore) 377 1tph
    • London Victoria to Brighton 377 2tph
    • London Victoria to Three Bridges (Southampton Central and Bognor Regis) 377 1tph
    • London Victoria to Three Bridges (Portsmouth & Southsea and Bognor Regis) 377 1tph
    • Brighton to Hove 313 2tph
    • London Victoria to Reigate 377 2tph
    • London Victoria to West Croydon (Sutton/Epsom Downs) 377 4tph
    Gatwick Express:
    • London Victoria to Brighton 387 2tph
    Thameslink:
    • Brighton to East Croydon (Cambridge) 700 2tph
    • Three Bridges (Horsham) to East Croydon (Peterborough) 700 2tph
    • Brighton to East Croydon (Bedford) 700 2tph
    • Gatwick Airport to East Croydon (Bedford) 700 2tph
    Great Western Railway:
    • Gatwick Airport to Reigate (Reading) 166 1tph
    • Redhill to Reigate (Reading) 166 1tph
There are additional services that run on this line that I have excluded because of their short length, such as London Victoria to Dorking, which would only go as far as Clapham Junction on this route. These would be included as AI, but would not be driveable.

    Map
This map shows the stations included in the route. The section highlighted in yellow would only be available to those who own East Coastway.
The red line is Gatwick Express.
    The green line is Southern.
    The purple line is Thameslink.

If you wanted to "join" this with East Coastway, my suggestion for joining routes might be the way to do it. (it doesn't require new paths to be built within routes, which is one of the greatest hurdles they said in a stream).

    Also, a very good suggestion!

Excellent idea but here's the thing if they wanted class 700 they need to ask the parent company of Southern Rail Govia for Thameslink license that should permit Class 700 and Class 387 trains. Also if you own this route then a 2020 setting of GWML Paddington to reading you should be able to layer class 387 from this route to GWML. Since Class 387 replaced class 166 on GWML London Paddington to reading local service. Easy way to tell between a Great Western Railway and a Gatwick Express version is the Red Paint Gatwick Express while Green Paint version GWR
