Screenshots of the USA freight route Cane creek by Skyhook games. These were shared during Railfan fest 2021. The first desert region environment coming to TSW2 and it looks amazing! Any thoughts?
Don't put in any trees, and then blame it on performance issues. Seriously, looks insanely good. Edited by DTG Natster - inappropriate language don't do it again.
I mean look at those mountains, flat and no trees. It looks fantastic. Union Pacific is going to be a great addition. Moving salt over three summits will be a blast. Some more screenshots!
I am stunned The only thing that concerns me about this route is how limited the timetable will be, as there is only one train a week on this line, and that’s the local train, as for mainline moves it’s about 3-5 I think. Scenarios are another thing to consider...

I notice in one of the pictures some kind of loading station could this suggest perhaps hoppercars may also come with the route,so you can load up whatever that loader well loads? This route would definitely benefit from something like that.
It’s hard to tell from that picture, it looks like it’s a walkway that runs above the tracks and I can’t tell if there is a chute for loading. Matt did say on the live stream that we would be driving empty wagons and load them with salt. So I’d imagine this route will have loading/unload sections!
The whole reason for the line's existence is the potash and uranium mines. No point to running trains there otherwise!
The only industry on the line is Intrepid Potash, which is located on the end of the line. Its the only reason the Potash Local runs on that line.
FYI- The studio Skyhook games is also developing their first game which is called “Lawn mower simulator” which is coming to Xbox gamepass.
I know kids and some fathers who won't mow the grass without being paid or getting a case of there favor beer as a reward for there "hard work" so i wonder how a game like this will be marketed to people who hate this doing this.Because you can't say honey or mom i did just mow the yard, without leaving your living room chair(Unless you have a robot mower of hire someone else to do it)Which is not something many of us can easily do nowadays. But it should be a challenging ad campaign for the company selling it.Goodluck.
The Simulator market has gone crazy over the years, you can think of any job or hobby and it more then likely has a simulator attached to it. The thing is people love these types of simulators and it almost seems the more mundane of a task the more people are into it. It’s all about the gameplay and how they frame it. I know in this instance your going to be building up your lawn care business and buying new equipment. I personally am excited for it!
