In this thread, I will present you all german DMUs, which were operating between around 2000 and today. (Except the Pesa Link/DB BR 631, 632, 633 because I forgot it and it's ugly ) BR 605: ICE-TD The Diesel Version of the ICE-T with only four cars. Today, this train is only used by the Advanced Train Lab (own two DMUs) Realistic use in TSW2: Hamburg-Lübeck BR 609.0 An old DMU with two cars, was never used by Deutsche Bahn. Realistic use in TSW2: - BR 609.1 An modular DMU, was also never used by Deutsche Bahn. Realistic use in TSW2: AI in Munich BR 610 The first german DMU with tilting. Realistic use in TSW2: - BR 611 Another DMU with tilting. Realistic use in TSW2: - BR 612 An DMU with tilting and a new front. Realistic use in TSW2: - BR 654 Realistic use in TSW2: - BR 672 Realistic use in TSW2: - That's everything except the Pesa Link Vote in the poll, which DMUs you prefer
An advantage to the LINT series is that reskinned they can also be used on other European routes, and even in Canada (Ottawa) ______________________ The ICE-TD could only appear on semi-vintage routes; they have all been withdrawn.
Yeah, they used to operate on the Pegnitztalbahn, where a lot of other tilting DMU's such as the 610 and 612 could/can also be seen a lot, but that only lasted until around 2005, with a lot of failures. Their last services were between Hamburg and Kopenhagen. I'd love to see it one day, just because of how unique it is.
Voted for DB BR605 since it can run on Hamburg-Lübeck and also become a test train together with it's UK Network Rail HST Yellow paint. DB BR650 it's going to be a German equivalent to a British Pacer diesel multiple unit the perfect train for TVL. I Did have a suggestion to where it can be introduced Strasbourg Kehl Railway. DB BR642 643 & 644 these German DMUs have owners in the United States and Canada are the following Sprinter San Diego County DB BR642 643 & 644 Ottawa O Train. Here's the DB BR642 in San Diego County Sprinter service to Escondido
The 628.4 for me because it goes pretty much anywhere. Be nice to see some passenger services at Aschaffenburg Sud
Any of the older DMUs please. Not a fan of modern stuff and we already have plenty modern German traction in the game.
The BR 624/634 isn't mentioned. Even it was build earlier than the others (1961), it operates untill 2005 at least in the Braunschweig area,
The BR 610 used to be my local train local train in Bayreuth before I moved to Stuttgart, faulty DMUs but it lead the way for many other successful tilting trains in Germany (not including the ICE TD because it's the ICE TD)
The 648s are used in Denmark quite a lot by Arriva and Nordjyske jernbanen, and if a route were created, one of these would be most welcome alongside other Diesel Units there are in Denmark I can’t wait for the 612 as finally there’s a European DMU being added
Didn't we get UK DMU's? The UK is a European country, but the BR 612 is still the first mainland Europe DMU
Mainland Europe except Spain & Portugal 1.668m tracks Former Soviet Union and Finland 1.520m tracks. DB BR612 arrives with Tharandter Rampe Dresden Chemnitz
I think the only pretty German DMU is the DB BR 612, so I am glad that it is coming soon. All the other ones are not that pretty, I prefer German EMUs. And sorry to say, but I hate the 642 (Desiro Classic), it is so ugly
For me nothing beats the classic look of the BR 610 and 611, I feel like they aren't neccesarily pretty pretty, but they have something about them.
This can also be the DLC locomotive for Tharandter Rampe Dresden Chemnitz route RE3 Dresden Gutenfürst Hof Nürnberg
Personally I don't care for flat-faceted 1980s styling (in trains or automobiles). I may be one of the few people on the planet who didn't much like the Testarossa.
I'm a big fan of the Br644 and Br620/622 because I live in cologne and it would be cool to drive them, about 15 years ago the Br612 was also running on the Eifelstrecke on weekends
Eifelstrecke If Made will lack DB BR612 since it can be layered from Dresden Chemnitz (Karl Marx Stadt) Tharandter Rampe route. Not sure if DB BR620/622 run to Aachen Hbf.
Yes me too, I live next to Euskirchen. I love the Br 644 and I would pay lots of money for it in the game ^^
I hope somebody will make the Br644 someday for tzsw 2. As well as the Br 620. The perfect route would be the "Eifelstrecke"
Would love to see the Lint 41, since they run on my local routes around Herning with Arriva. Also the Desiro would be lovely, since DSB used to have them in Aarhus, and now Arriva took over then, to use next to their Lint 41´s
