    No thanks.
Even though I'd love to see a French routes, I'm not interested in dedicated high speed lines. Didn't buy Marseille-Avignon because it's a one trick pony.

LGV Est will work because it can tie into the German Schnellfahrstrecke Network using Strasbourg Kehl Appenweier Karlsruhe Mannheim Railway where TGV Euroduplex & DB BR407 towards Stuttgart and HMA divert using the Bruschal Junction with Schnellfahrstrecke Mannheim Stuttgart. LGV Est if made will permit German ICE 3M from SKA train to use KVB TVM-430 ETCS there is a switch for it. The Fun part is using AFB on a French LGV reverse is TGV Euroduplex 15kv 16.7hz Deutsche Bahn LZB Sifa PZB on Metalized carbon pantograph 1.95m

You could send a TGV from Paris to Brussels and have the commuter lines of both Brussels and Paris on the same route. Problem fixed for everyone and probably the best route ever added to TSW

DTG said on LGV stream that a International route will be hard (so then) it wouldn't come. But there only are TGV's on that route and no commuter ones so i don't really like it

Ah then we raise the bar and we do Paris - Amsterdam. We would have commuters for Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Brussels, Paris and a TGV (Thalys). It would be so awesome. DTG should really do more effort in connecting Europe

how about paris quevy railway set in 2004-2007 240 km 150 mi. Where the BB15000 gets replaced by an NMBS/SNCB Class 27 which then takes the old Deutsche Bahn City Night Line train Paris Quevy Brussels Liege Aachen-Duisburg-Dortmund-Berlin/Hamburg to Aachen HBF where the SNCB Class 27 is replaced by the Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr DB BR101 retro DB BR120 for Aachen-Monchengladbach-Duisburg-Dortmund-Berlin. Here's a report by European Traction on that Night Train. Another option is Paris Est Metz Forbach where BB15000 does Paris Est Metz night train run but the RRO/ Riesa-Dresden 185.5 takes over for Metz-Forbach-Berlin/Frankfurt Am Oder DDR via Frankfurt Am Main & Aschaffenburg Main Spessart Bahn. In actual practice, the Riesa-Dresden RRO 185.5 stays all the way to Paris Est from former DDR VR Polen German for People's Republic of Poland border station Frankfurt Am Oder where Eu44 Polish railways designation for OBB 1216 drops the train from VR Polen People's Republic of Poland Border station Brest with the Soviet Union present day Belarus .

Metz Saarbrucken 30km can work where you have DB BR407 TGV POS/ Euroduplex X73900 and BB15000 doing Metz Forbach services. At Forbach, B15000 has dropped the train for a DLC DB BR181 alternatively if RRO or DDR Riesa-Dresden is owned 185.5 can take over BB15000 sleeper train duties at Gare Forbach. Longer version is 121 km 76 mi Metz Saarbrucken Kaiserslautern.

^^ TGV POS are gone on the LGV Est anyway they're allocated to the LGV Nord as the TGV PSE are a thing from the past. I don’t really think the another LGV is needed as you drive mostly at 300 kph and if it’s around 90 km long like the LGV Méd it’s pointless and boring. If another route has to be set in France ( which won’t happen of course ) it’s a classic one as there’s many different landscape like in the south east coast near Nice or in Bretagne or the Alps

Everybody keeps saying this won't happen and that won't happen. And I'm sure that is correct but are there resources to be found that explain why for example international routes won't happen or that we will never get a route in France anymore. Or is this all bits and pieces from different streams, articles and different dates in time?

You are right. But, it is soooo freaking crazy to exceed 300kph... still excited with this route.

Totally agree, French commuter routes would be great, for example one from around Paris, where there is a lot of potential, like my Paris st Lazare - Mantes-la-Jolie suggestion, but also many others.
