Actually, this DOES include the Pres Crew updates for Bakerloo and SKA (also for SPG for what it's worth, although it's just a Raildriver tweak.) Pleased as well to see we're getting the londonmidland skybox upgrade for nearly all routes (a handful of the Preserved Collection still has the old cruddy one, for now)
It looks like the Koln-Aachen updates is the rest of the pres crew stuff, and I think the skies counts as pres crew too? (Adam's the one that's always talking about it) EDIT: Apparently the update wipes custom liveries :/
Was hoping the Brighton Mainline collectibles would have been sorted as well so we can unlock the unobtainable trophy, no idea why this cant be sorted?
Same reason as for the Sherman Hill collectibles, I would assume. As far as I know, some of them still can't be picked up.

I dunno what’s changed other than what was detailed in the update notes, but I have finally been able to complete my first scenario on London Commuter (Slow Way Home). This, along with the other scenarios, has always crashed for me before trying it today. PS5 Version / PS5

I think a lot of the Pres Crew updates that are released over the next [insert time-frame] are going to disappoint a lot of people. Anyone expecting large swathes of bug fixes are going to find a short list of things like spelling mistakes in localisation, tweaks to audio levels and not much else besides, and the majority of what’s been done is adding the newer features. The deep dives into each route were called off and they changed the approach to just fix some minor things, add RH passengers, PIS and level crossings to every route that hadn’t had a PC pass. I’m certainly not expecting anything more from what’s been said and is written in the roadmap articles. There may have been one or two deep dive bug fixing route updates that are still awaiting release but most routes will have barely been touched.
Well I think as long as the routes are back to the level they were in the original TSW, most of us would be happy for a start. I mean like the Baby Bullet that still has audio cutting out, I believe? Or the whole situation with LIRR, lol. So bringing routes back to their original quality + the standard preservation updates like the skies and working crossing gates, and that would be a great for a start. But as it stands now, I havn't played Peninsula Corridor since switching to TSW2 due to the issues. I would love to buy the Baby Bullet as well, but not until it's fixed.
Are we expecting an update to the cloud box today for all the routes that said yes today from the updated notice? Cause I see no update on the steam game engine yet?
Read up a few posts - they aborted the steam release as the update deletes custom liveries. They've now pulled the 5th anniversary stream.
Where did you see that? I didn't hear them mentioning anything about aborting except for the creator club livery not for the skybox update?
Oh wow so we get no update again, cause i was really looking forward to it. They also cancel their anniversary event today as well, not going well for the team right now.
I am guessing last minute work on the QA Team once again, when getting us all hype and then shutting down again

It’s not 100% clear as to who should not start their game so it’s probably best no to until the all clear siren goes off. There will be plenty of people who won’t have seen the announcements about this of course and it’s probably just precautionary in case it corrupts files or something but I’d rather be safe than sorry. It may just relate to Epic and console players but I’m not sure. I’m on PS5 and I have already played after the update but I don’t have any custom liveries so I’m probably safe anyway.
The entire update for the steam platform has been pulled at this time and do not expect it today, unless they give a further announcement. This is down to the fact the update is wiping peoples liveries ( as has been said multiple times)
The message is pretty clear. The update broke something so liveries can disappear. So they aborted the update for Steam and advise everyone who got the update to not play if you have liveries and don't want them gone.
Nat has to mention that because the title is really confusing, it should have today's update is postponed, cause from what I read it look like only the custom Liveries, The title should be more specific. Custom Liveries - Important Update [17:45]
Hmm I wonder why? 5 years in and the game has a ton of issues still not resolved. I mean how in the world does an update just delete custom made liveries. That's ridiculous and unacceptable for players.
If the update is not today, i really do hope the team is looking into this and trying to fix this problem since they also cancel today anniversary stream as well. I really do hope the team is using this time wisely today, and hopefully release it just in time with the Harlem Line.
Hey if it meant that issues spotted on the harlem line stream are resolved, I see that as a win. It won't happen though
Well usually the update prior to a DLC release contains important changes to the core in order to facilitate the release. Im fairly certain that no update on steam means no Harlem release and if thats the case I will be so, so, cross that I may have to take my bat AND ball home with me.
Well, I would say a postponed release for the Harlem Line would allow them to fix some things on the route, but we all know they probably won't, lol. I mean especially not if they will have their hands full with this update to fix. I still doubt we will even have fixed passengers for Harlem Line for release. Anyway the best of luck for them to fix whatever this is.
If this will not inspire DTG to change direction, then... This year has been an utter disaster. Just refunded Harlem Line on Steam. They ain't get my money until they sort themselves out.
Just do away with creators club and custom liveries and go back to being a sim. There problem solved, lets get the update out on steam and proceed with Harlem as planned.
I also will say that they won't do it. I also doubt that they fix the track sound for the train as well, but who knows maybe they will surprise us for tomorrow's stream and do most of the stuff that we as the community mention on the forum, which I really do hope so.
