Something that will probably just re-use stock like most other German routes because its easier than actually making something new.
It would be nice to have a new German Train in the game like the ICE 1 for example as part of this new routes rolling stock. That would give us some variety on ICE services.
I do have an answer but I'm not telling you what it is.........why announce something and then not tell us what it is? Makes no sense. You might as well just say "we have another DLC coming out" well yeah......I have no idea, but let's hope it's a bit different as previous comments have said. Maybe carry on the steam loco theme?
Let's just take a wild stab in the dark here and say they'll base it off an existing station in the game to save a bit of time on modelling... Cologne - Duisburg? Or if we're going down the really-wishful-thinking road something involving Frankfurt?
Another route with the wrong dopplestock passenger car.It will probably have another clone emu,They really need another german route with a really new locomotive. Now a steam locomotive would qualify as new, germany has a history of great steam power.
Well, we'll see. Let's hope it will bring something unique to the TSW experience like the last two did - without their stability problems of course. On Series X both are a smashing experience, especially DRA... Regarding the Dostos I fear we will see another recycling. So far every single german route has them and I don't see this changing anytime soon(-ish)... But honestly, I could live with that. Because that would be an opportunity to please, please, please correct the headlight settings for them. It's an utter immersion killer, I found it so immense that I finished only one single drive on them on DCZ and never touched them again. I would even volunteer to correct the settings myself, even if I would have to do this by hand for every single service of TSW! (Which by the way would have been finished weeks ago if just someone would have done it...)
Maybe Hauptstrecke Bochum-Hagen/Dortmund linking HRR RRO & RSN including the Rbf Hagen Vorhalle. Maybe Riesa-Chemnitz DRA DCZ link via Dobeln. International Dresden Schona Bodenbach/Aussig Rosenheim Innsbruck Salzburg-Munchen (Freight Rbf Laim to Gnigl Salzburg) L37 Aachen Liege.
Ok then another way to join HRR with SKA is via the Duisburg Monchengladbach Aachen Line that way HRR gets DB BR1440 and owners of that route can use DB BR1440 on RRO and DCZ
But if you have Duisburg Köln, you may get ICE 1 ICE 2 and Rhein Ruhr Express Br 462. then you can use the real RE 1 from SKA. That means you can drive with the RE1 from Aachen via Köln Düsseldorf Duisburg Essen to Bochum. And you will also get new ICE trains.
Ich denke mal das die neue deutsche strecke schon die Sommerveröffentlichung sein wird und daher die Köln-Duisburg Strecke sein wird, da DTG mal sagte das sie SKA und HRR verbinden möchten.
Doubt it. You'd really want that to be an extension to DRA and there has been no indication of extensions happening.
a grand total of 4 connecting routes in the area with no connection without swapping would be quite a strange too much technically would be 5 if you count gaschwitz to Leipzig aswell and the branches of Dresden Riesa
Riesa-Leipzig the Missing link between Rapid Transit and Riesa-Dresden the ICE-T is usually there. DTG can just add that using Rush Hour Train pack with it's US equivalent Avelia Liberty.
East Coastway, Southeastern High Speed and London-Brighton came out effectively back to back to back: all London-Surrey-Sussex-Kent routes
East Coastway is a Sussex local route. The Next German route might be Hauptstrecke Innsbruck Rosenheim Spoiler: Hauptstrecke Rosenheim Innsbruck Selected routes get Nightjet services others get a chance of ÖBB locomotives pulling a Deutsche Bahn Doppelstockwagen
It’s not that long since the ramp. That said, I personally standby whatever routes come through in the future will have scope for steam to run on it in some guise
Well, the Germans are due. The last three DTG releases announced have been/will be Chemnitz - Harlem - Liverpool.
It would be a really really awesome idea but I'm not sure if they were to add Innsbruck - Rosenheim they would've hinted that it might be a German/Austrian Route as "New German/Austrian Route" Let's keep hope that someday soon it will happen though, I really want to see the ÖBB in TSW2.
