Game Keeps Crashing Since Steam Trainset

    Because you need an extra account for the support portal because the support portal is NOT Dovetail Live.

    That is a forum bug which shows your medals on someone else’s member panel when you view it and not anything to do with the account it shows on having an issue.

    I suspect you are now just trolling, people have signposted you to where you need to log the issues and tried helping but from here on in, I'm out

    Either create an account with the customer support website (an external website working on behalf of DTG) and log a ticket or enjoy having the issues you are having forever. It is your choice.

    any software support, by using the software user ID, or in this case game user ID, support then have the history of the software, any relevant update(s), plug-in(s), DLC, etc... that way they can rapidly know what is going on and enact a fix.
    if like this game the "customer support" does not use the game user ID, then the support team(s), have absolutely no idea what is going on, no idea of what is the update that was applied, what plug-in(s), what DLC(s), etc.... even have no idea of what game it would be from the maybe 100s that DTG produce or have produced

    I do appreciate the help from everyone

    but the fact remains that the login does not work, I have even tr4yied to create one, and it will not work

    so the only recourse still available is to make a message here

    This is not how all of this works. Not even close. All the relevant data is saved in logfiles, that are mostly either .txt-files or zip-files locally saved on your computer.

    Again: When you open a ticket, you have to deliver the infos like which game ( TSW1 or TSW 2), which DLC and which platform (PC, Console) you are on. YOu have to provide them with these infos BY YOURSELF.

    For all these things I would like to drop "Data protection" in here.

    and how do they get those files, by magic, no the must have the game user ID to do so, like in all normally programmed software

    1. There is no "normally programmed software".
    2. You can upload these files while opening the ticket.

    how can I upload something that is nowhere to see once it is sent to whomever receive the SEND AND CLOSE or SEND AND RESTART screen, which by the way is the only information about what maym have happened to game

    When the game crashes, a logfile gets automatically created on your HDD, there is an extra folder in the Train Sim World 2-Folder. When you open a ticket, you can upload these files.

    Data protection is there for a reason. I recommend you have a read over it.

    BTW, i you can not help with the information I have provided it is OK, I will not get upset at anyone for either refusing to , or unable to help

    The crash information I have provided, is ti see if anyone can or is willing to help, and maybe also help others with a similar issue

    doublefine7, really appreciate you trying to help but I’d suggest you cut your losses now. rat7_mobile has already proven many times over in other threads that they’re completely immune to learning and/or accepting that something is not like they thought it’d be.

    I am not immubne to learniing but when it does not work it simply does not work
    https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com/, I have tried to create an account, all it ask is a email adress, I provided it, then it goes to the login, which again I provided the same email adress, it then tell me that I need a password, but I never ask to create a password, so it is not possible to login

    I am then told to use some kind of form, but I have no idea where to get this form

    Oh wait it is not even a form, it is a subform, but I do not even have access to the for, so how can I access the subform of the form

    PS at the top of the forum there is no indication about any forms in the resource, much less about an technical subform

    I have retracted my comment about a form, but in all logic, before you can acees a subform, you must first access the form which should hold the subform

    At this point I would just say deal with the problem many of has attempted to try and help but for whatever reason you plucked something from the sky that the customer support is not official so I don't see why we should be waisting are time if you don't do what we say

    Also check your emails most likely you need to verify your account and then you can make your password
