    Think about a FreeSync/GSync monitor.

    What's your refresh rate and are you running the game with V sync on or off?

  6. Try limiting your frame rate. This can be done by adding "-FPSLimit=30" to the end of the ts exe.

    30= the frame cap

    If you have a 60hz display you would want to change value to 59.

    59? To 60 of course. 59/60 would give you massive tearing (Because 60 can't be divided by 59)

    But I still think there's some misconceptions. Modern monitors do not have a real refresh rate like the old cathode ray tubes. It's more about pixel reaction / refresh time.

    The tearing can be avoided anyway by using Borderless mode.

  8. That doesn't make sense.

    60hz means your display can refresh 60 times per second ie display 60 frames per second. Screen tearing occurs when your gpu exceeds that. For example your display Is 60hz and your gpu is rendering 120 frames per second. That's 2 frames in 1. As your display is getting double frames you get tearing. This is where one frame overlaps the other.

    Limit the fps to 59 or 58, 45, 30 your not going to get tearing. Your monitor will display 59 frames per second, not 59 and a half.
