Rivet - I have to say a big thank you for the updates you have made to the 150 in terms of engine revs, physics. ( acceleration is so so much better ) and generally feels amazing to use now.

The only thing is the brake rub sound is still not there. Well…it’s not the correct sound effect and not loud enough.
The track joints are still a bit quiet too.
Other than that, Massive improvement. Thank you again.

As promised I’ll update my reviews accordingly.

I haven't updated the route yet and don't know anything about the improvements. Rivet reported on the work on the improvement, but did not announce their release. And when running the saved collection, nothing was said about the 150/2 improvements either. It is happened? Shunting cameras were added (view from the cab to the window)?

Another nice added feature is the left and arrow keys now work for the head out function. Only it's mapped back to front so left key is head out camera right and right key is head out camera left lol. But it's better than no head out camera at all, as was before the update :)

Whilst it is more accurate now for me it still could be better. In notch 7 the engine sounds like it throbbing and there are a couple of key sounds that are missing that don’t make it 100% accurate, good effort though.

Are these fixes only for the TSW3 version, or applied to TSW2 as well?

Thanks Rivet! I was really looking forward to these improvements! Now I can return to the Cornish route again. I enjoy.

I'm trying to get a full list of improvements and add them to the update list (it wasn't originally in there). Will share when it's there and updated.

Now only if they gave their LU stock the same treatment. I would love to get that train, but not while it still sounds like that.

I know, I tried the 38 stock in TSW3 in the slim hope the sounds had been fixed but, alas, no. Still the same dead silence when not actively accelerating or braking. It just blows my mind that a whole team of people create something so detailed, and yet seemingly don't care enough about their own product to fix such a glaring oversight. A completely silent 1938 tube train? What on earth were they thinking when they signed off on that.

Either way, with Joe and James' very excellent timetable update, I have lots to play with without Rivet's contribution. Hopefully one day, though.

Thanks guys for the positive feedback, much appreciated!

Let me just briefly add the full changelog (just in case anyone is interested and for DTG JD ):
    • characteristic 2s startup delay between rev up and move off
    • slower and more accurate acceleration between 0 and 30 mph
    • engine adjusted so that max speed works out to around 75mph and you requires higher notches to maintain that speed.
    • revs will no longer drop when going into forwards or reverse
    • throttle lock now only applies when in braking 2 or greater. In braking 1 full throttle is available.
    • added contact signaller functionality to phone
    • fixed bug where doors could be stuck open if open buttons pressed quickly multiple times
    • added climb up transition to front end of train
    • added shunting cameras
    • guard buzzer can no longer be used if any doors are open
    • fix bug where longer formations would sometimes not apply full power

And silence on the 38 stock, lol. Thank you for the update on the 150 at least, Jasper.

There's nothing I could tell you about the 38 Stock I'm afraid, that's why I didn't said anything.

Thank you very much, great job!

I take this opportunity to make a small request, could you please add ambient sounds in Arosa Linie? They are not there since it was released for some reason. Maybe it's not a lot of work and it's just changing some switch from "off" to "on"? It seems very strange to me because in all your other routes there are very well added sounds of all kinds (birds, cars, insects, water, passengers, etc) and in Arosa a complete silence.

Wouldn't mind seeing a video of the changes to the 150, may finally make me buy the route as I do love a Sprinter!

Hi Jasper, I have the same question like solicitr. Would you have a positioning? BTW: I enjoy WCL very much.
