Have To Login To Dove Tail Live Every Time I Open The Game

its getting really annoying now, can someone fix it please.(btw, im on ps5)

I'm sometimes prompted to log in again which is annoying.

Had not played in about a week had to login back in. But I have also noticed after updates you need to lo back in again as well.

Since the last update I have to login again every time I start the program, even if I didn't shut down the pc between sessions. No-one is using my pc other than me, you can thrust this device.

I just decided after the 3d time this past week, to just ignore it.

 

Had to log in every day since Saturday.

 

Thanks for the update Alex It's more of an inconvenience than anything It's not that like major of a deal It's just more annoying than anything as you can imagine

 

I stopped it by signing out of Dovetail Live in the settings, then restarting the game and signing in one last time. Hasn’t asked me since.

 

Same an MS Store/XBox app. I wouldn't mind if the login screen had the auto fill in the email and password fields. As it is it's annoying having to type it all in every time you run the game!

 

It has just occurred to me on the Xbox series X after I don't play the game within 48 hours or more

 

It's done it to me on both Series X and PS5 although most of the time I used to log out and log in as then I would know that all my downloaded liveries would work / appear in game :P So yeah its kind of annoying but its good at the same time.

It wouldn't be so bad if the log in screen remembered your credentials, well at least your username/email.

 

Would indeed be very handy if credentials were remembered. It's a hassle to have to input everything without a keyboard. Takes a long time with a controller.
Of course, it would be better still if the problem just got fixed and we stay logged in.

I got TSW3 a couple days ago and this seems to still not be fixed despite it being nearly 6 months since. I'm prompted with the login screen each time I open the game. Surely DTG could have at least programmed it so the game remembers your credentials locally in order to not require me to manually type it out every time I want to play.

 

There's a reason I came across this thread. The reason, in August 2023, is that I'm sick of having to constantly login every time I want to play the game. It doesn't even remember my details so I just have to login, but I have to type my email and password NEARLY EVERY TIME I want to play. It's just annoying. So I searched to see if others have experienced it. And they have. With TSW2 as well as 3, apparently. So this is something that goes way back.

 

This is a thread that was created due to an outage 7 months ago., your issue will not have the same cause as the people that posted in this thread in January. Your best bet is to raise a tech support ticket
