Absolutely this, it's time to make a statement. Also can you please put us all out of our misery and confirm what the JT route is, given the 95% chance it's going to be Preston (or possibly Colne) to Blackpool North with a Pacer. Update required on status of ATS and UW projects or have they become vapourware. Likewise update appreciated on status of TSG projects - DB 420, 232 and 218 all of which are eagerly awaited. Update on save game situation. With several shorter routes having come out making service chaining desirable, can we have an update where we are with regard to subsequent runs failing to load the objective data back in when resuming.
I hate to sound like a broken record as I do appreciate what you guys are doing and the effort that the whole team puts in so I don't want this to come across in a bad way With the new dlc thats come out it seems like the unobtainable golds list is increasing faster than its decreasing. New dlc like ROG, Glossop and PFR (I'm sure there are others) are coming out with more services that have unrealistic scoring? As there is a function for completing journeys to gold and the profile shows your medals it would be nice for services to be fully completeable to gold or if perhaps the 'Completed to Gold' feature could be removed until its possible to do so? Also was wondering if there was any update on xbox audio as thats still as bad as it has been for a few months.
Thanks Alex. Can we have a comprehensive explanation of stop marker issues as they seem to be causing seemingly random issues all over the place. What issues do they cause and why. Has the problem been identified ? Fix time ? I don't know if it was caused by a stop marker but I had a Service Failure near the end on Peak Forest Scenario Planner with no AI, earlier. It has been suggested that they're caused by stop markers.
Why were some avatars removed from TSW2 to 3. Player identity is important. I've now lost mine. It was auto replaced with "the next nearest" ...which involved a race change
Any updates regarding the Neutral Section Bug on Edinburgh- Glasgow, or the TMS PIS audio not working on off world destinations (Alloa and Dunblane), rain not showing on the 385 windscreen. Any update on the IoW 22 mastery not unlocking (i.e. showing as an available layer) Is there any fixes planned for the medal system and why/ how routes are being released with this problem still occuring where services don't even come close to being achievable? Finally, can the UI be updated for trains where multiple livieres are now available, such as the HST and 323, so they are not listed in the selector as HDT GWE or 323WMT, but simply as HST and 323.
Going to have to join in with those asking about the Big 3. Please don’t make us wait another month of radio silence… other than that I guess the JT Route reveal hopefully.

Why are you demanding updates from third parties? They do their own thing at their own speed, they will give updates as and when they want to. learning the tools for TSW is a long process.
Any plan to fix the problems the release of TSW3 introduced to the franchise? It's been nearly a year, and eye adaptation is still absolutely broken; the game looks washed out, and dynamic weather transitions are about as smooth as sanding paper. Regarding the last point, can you explain why dynamic weather behaves much better in MML than in any other route?

The creators club In my opinion it is pretty successful and curious to know Is it still considered beta and can we expect to see anything new in this space? Question # 4 : Do we expect to see an Unreal Engine update Alongside or with the summer releases? Question # 5 : Any progress With Fixing The Save games Officially? Question # 6 : Will the summer release Come with Any new features? Question # 7 : any progress on stuttering in routes or any changes to draw distance? Question # 8 : are there any plans on adding London Midlands mod for the better lighting on signals on PS five or Xbox?
How much value is placed on ensuring that as much value is obtained from players DLC collection as possible when adding layers to new / previous routes? Despite some good additions to the Glossop Line, such as the Class 158 and HST as AI in Piccadilly, we've seen some missed opertunities recently as well. There was no Class 150 in Northen livery on the Glossop Line which might have encouraged owners to buy West Cornwall Local (or vice versa). There was also no 4F layer added to Spirit of Steam. Obviously there is a cost to developing this but it would have helped fix the main complaint that the SOS timetable is too empty and also added a lot of value for the owners of both routes. The most confusing omission to me is why the WCL modern Jubilee doesn't sub in for the steam rail tours? There seems little point in buying it when it can't be used for services it would absolutely makes sense (due to the addition of AWS and speedometer). I get you don't want to lock services behind a pay wall for those that don't own WCL but don't punish those that do! It seems there are much less layers (on averge) since the performance issues with Rush Hour. Is the reason for this a desire to not have different timetables for different generations? This would seem to go against the pledge to not let one platform hold back another. To me, this sort of reuse of DLC is the best kind of loyalty reward and can only encourage users to buy more content.
Is TSW4 coming at the end of August? Or has it been delayed until end of September? Will the MML hotfix be released before Chrimbo? Kind regards, Dave
Union workshop is still a partner, don't worry. But I would expect them to be still learning. It took just trains quite a while to create something in tsw and for it to be added to the roadmap. Smaller teams making full routes will generally take longer to learn unreal especially if they're also working on tsc content as well
I have a question about layers. Since DTG seems to be focusing more on gameplay by adding trains that wouldn't run or have never on a particular route in real life like the tgv on sehs or other fictional layers, what would be the difficulties in adding a option to allow players to turn off a layer they don't want to see on a route without having to delete a dlc to have a certain train removed and is this something that can be added to the game? I believe having a option to remove layers would solve the problem of players that want to enjoy a route but don't want to see unrealistic trains and players that want a more gamey experience in having the ability to play certain trains on certain routes even if they don't run there in real life so they can have fun in a particular route without having to remove the layer completely
Why not? The publicity and ultimate publication of these items all falls under DTG eventually anyway. It was DTG who posted the teaser screen shot a few weeks ago, of the JT route. I highly doubt ATS will be allowed to sell TSW content through their own commercial operation. Anyhow, it never hurts to ask…
He wasn’t really ‘asking’ though, it came across like we are due an update so give us an update now or else. It falling under DTG eventually is irrelevant, the third party team do their own thing at their own pace.
The danger of putting up the Q&A thread before the article is that questions will be about legacy bugs. Here’s another… Any chance that the AI trains featured in the first loco bundle for the TSW3 core routes (Santa Fe F7, Dispolok 182) could run with their headlights turned on in line with the relevant regulations on the depicted railways? It’s a fairly minor bug to fix but a major safety hazard on the tracks and a very poor player experience for the money we spent on them in good faith. It’s been far too long and no mention of it on any roadmap. A fix would be greatly appreciated.
Oh man, I’d love to see this one addressed. It looks especially bad on the Dispolok 182 since you basically only see it running at night on its featured route.
I might as well ask again. Are you ever going to fix the Rapid Transit Dostos so they can actually be driven. You‘ve acknowledged my previous posts about it so I know you’re aware of it. I know it’s probably not the most popular route. But you are still selling it broken with no note that the Cab Car doesn’t work and I‘m getting a bit bored of having to install another route to borrow it’s stock. I thought that bugs preventing gameplay are meant to be higher priority, but it seems not.
Anyone looking into outstanding pathing and red light issues? You opened a thread for feedback after the patch, but nothing was mentioned in the roadmaps since.
1. When will we see enhancements to the scenario creator to give more variety in what can be done rather than just A to B journeys? 2. AI steam locos - still no sound from the actual loco when passing, didn’t you say last time that a fix had been found? 3. Any progress on the disappearing/non-existent/sex-changing fireman during a scenario or timetable run, plus his coal is still missing from the shovel (when he/she turns up for a shift!)? 4. What progress has been made on the control API, 5 years you've mentioned this off and on? 5. Can you please make Woodhead for TSW3/4 a priority? - I’m not getting any younger!
I second this, also add in that TMS doesn’t recognise the change of destination once you complete a service and want to go back the other way.
A TSG projects status report would be much appreciated ;-) I guess they helped with the upcoming "German Loco"?
Any news on the AI trains displaying a blank PIS, on Cross city and SEHS? Also, on cross city, Litchfield City still doesn't exist within the PIS. Station PIS display blank, and the player train will display "not in service" if the destination station is Litchfield City.
With the imminent release of the 700/0, are there any plans to fix the AI PIS bug on SEHS? It seems like a good time to finally so do.
DTG does have no TSG status information. So they can't tell you. I, by myself, told enough on the forums to get the ide of the actual state of projects. If there is something new, we will tell.
