    Well I think most releases have had patches after release. In fact I am sure most computer games do.

    Not only the ports, this thread is full of promises to improve the route. All that is not covered by the patch.

    This patch is not the be all and end all, I feel that you are overthinking things slightly and this goes for what you said in the ECML suggestion thread about Skyhook too.

    Maybe you're right. My gut says otherwise. Time will tell. I'll stay away from SHG DLC for the time being.

    Patch has dropped on PS5 and the HST numbers are now fixed on GWE

    Oh, for sure I do - when I see them. For now it's just hot air, and I will not support this kind of developer behaviour any more, paying full price and then hoping for fixes. :)

    I just had a TPWS issue post patch, on the C-Line heading into Nottingham from Derby. After the brakes released, and I got going the game crashed. It was a morning service in the 158, not sure which service number. On PS5.

    I have highlighed the reason why (IMO) the patch today didn't work. Skyhook were working on one set of code as a base, but by the time the patch went out it had changed as a result of another change in the patch. I reckon GWE is fine but MML is not because the fix was built based on the old GWE code...

    Yep GWE works fine but MML doesn't, PS5 Patch, Haven't received an Xbox update yet.

    Also had a TWPS brake application outside Nottingham post patch (PS5). Got going and mine didn’t crash this time.

    1D57 now works as far as Nottingham (part 1), no crash so the patch fixed something. Did have a TWPS BRAKE application outside Nottingham (I was well under the speed limit observing adverse signals).

    About to do part 2 to Derby now.

    On a side note I’ll be adding this service to the recommended run thread. Plenty of adverse and stop signals. The patch changed something because before it was all greens…

    This time I was following HST and local services at various points. Timetable took this into consideration.

    It literally crashed a mile out of Nottingham heading to Derby. (PS5)

    Not good enough I’m afraid. There’s a post further back of a PS5 crash since the patch this afternoon from another user.

    Does anyone know when the Xbox patch will be available ? I’ve just been on and no sign of a patch for me.:(

    Tried again just playing part 2 instead. Managed to get out of Nottingham this time but hard crashed a few hundred yards outside Derby.

    Buggy mess.

    Just tried MML on PC, FYI still get all coaches labelled as coach A on the HST.

    Ngl I swear nothing has changed in this update the dsd shortcut still doesn’t work and freight services still don’t exist and the Hst coaches are all named A still!? Idk if these are for future updates anyone know

    PS5 is still getting crashes. DSD/AWS switch is still is the wrong place. TWPS brake applications are still happening.

    The HST doesn't crash for me on a service where it consistently crashed before today. I'm on ps5 too

    Same for me. It worked on a previously crashed service. But then a different service crashed for me instead.

    Passengers were also walking through the sides of trains…

    This patch has made things worse on PS5 somehow. It almost feels like this patch has rolled back to errors previously fixed.

    HST nuclear lighting is still present.Pretty sure this was flagged on launch day (and fixed?) but it’s still there…

    1D57 worked for me post patch. Although still got the TPWS Brake Demand.

    sadler_owls when you did part one did you continue the service via free roam, or did you come out back to Main Menu and select it from the timetable menu?

    I will add to this thread after I have tried first running from return to free roam and continuing the service then trying the service from a fresh timetable run.

    Finished Part 1 and went to free roam to do part 2. Crashed almost immediately leaving Nottingham.

    Tried again loading in part 2 from the main menu. Made it all the way to Derby before crashing at the last signal before the curve into the station.

    May try part 2 again and turn of safety systems. See if it’s linked to that.

    I can't remember any crashes on this route since I've got it (PS5).

    Tagging DTG Matt here as well.
    So I tried Part two of 1D57 St Pancakes to Derby as a continuation (free roam ) of Part one and the PS5 sat down and said nope at 1.6 miles from the stop at Long Eaton. I had safeties on but not DSD. Driving about 38mph and had just activated the AWS Magnet for a yellow light. Have sent the error report and tagged Matt and MML in it so you might be able to see what's happening.

    It’s not even in the same place, just seems to have had enough at random points on PS5.

    Other DLC work flawlessly on TSW3 with regards to stability, this was not ready for release.

    So 1D57 part two to Derby worked ok. Was a bit nervous at 1.6 miles from Long Eaton and again 1000 yards from Derby upto the point of when I stopped but it worked fine. That was choosing the service from the time table menu.

    Jus played a peak time HST morning service (around half 8) from Leicester to Nottingham. Had emergency brake kick in about 850 yards short of Nottingham. Managed to get going and complete service.

    Free roamed and took over the 9.20 Nottingham to Matlock. Game crashed less than a mile outside Nottingham.

    Hugely frustrating!! (PS4)

    I'm going to assume you play with safety systems on.
    AWS and TPWS are on when you turn AWS on. When you approach the TPWS magnets, if you're going more than 20mph on a red signal, it will automatically trigger the emergency brakes.

    If you don't play with safety systems, then Skyhook needs to get it together properly

    Can some let me why on Xbox X I don’t have all the freight services compare to PC. The only difference I don’t have is the class45 on Xbox.

    They need to get it together for sure (regardless of safety systems) as it’s constantly crashing on PlayStation!!!

    I had AWS on and was going slow anyway on the approach to Nottingham as I was quite early. I was in initial braking doing around 40 way before the 50 limit (I think it's 50) and suddenly saw the yellow lozenge appear with no noise.

    Having noticed an update come in overnight (on Steam), I picked up this route for the first time since the initial (broken) patch. The first service I tried was 6M93, using the SEHS 66.

    I didn't notice at first that I had double-headed 66s. This train is definitely too light to warrant such power; even loaded, it would be within the capabilities of a single 66. The headlights of the rear one were switched on and bleeding through into my cab, washing out my view through the windscreen. The tail light was present on the rear wagon, though it was of the old oil-lamp type which is anachronistic for a train hauled by a 66.

    On the bidirectional slow line to Syston, two AWS magnets were active, even though they were a mile and a half out of position for the signals they would apply to in this direction. I didn't get any TPWS activations, though I'm not sure if the 66 as modelled even has functioning TPWS. I will be paying attention to this when I move to passenger services.

    Just after Syston, there was a short spurious section of 20mph limit. This should apply only to the diverging route (or rather the converging route in the opposite direction), not to the straight one.

    At Loughborough and East Midlands Parkway, I had spurious signal checks almost to a stand, clearing only when I reached the mid-platform waypoint. There was no adverse traffic and no diverging route to set. I believe this is a matter of changing a flag on the waypoint so that routes are cleared through it - and this should be the default for go-via waypoints.

    BUT the dsd still cant be acknowledged with B button on series x.

    Frustrating isn’t it ! :mad:
    I bit the bullet and bought a cheap wireless keyboard and operate the safety systems using that. Works very well, but I do have a desk to keep the keyboard on, maybe not be so much use if you don’t have room for it.

    Keyboard also allows you to remove hud and other onscreen help individually, whereas Xbox controller either removes hud entirely or you have to have full on screen help. :)

  45. u can use a keyboard on the x box u know trust me get rid of that controller the game is way more fun with keyboard and mouse

    Pretty much the best thing keyboards offer to my mind. I couldn't live with that dreadful AP bar in the corner and removing the speedo without getting rid of the next stop HUD.

    Yes, I find it much more immersive whilst still having some help for next stop distance, as I don’t know the routes very well yet.
    I still use the controller for most of the train controls though. ;)

    I´ve attached a keyboard to PS5 to deal with PZB and other safety systems. Also CTRL+F2 would enable/disable motion blur. But I can´t seem to find the short cut to get rid of that "dreadful AP bar". CTRL+F6 doesn´t do the trick?!
