Can You Uninstall Tsw2 If You Have Tsw3

Hi, I have all my TSW2 DLCs loaded on TSW3, so now can I uninstall TSW2 off my pc to save storage space?

Then obviously when going from TSW3 to TSW4.

 

Yes you only need the latest version installed.

I still keep TSW2020 installed for NEC NY, Amtrak SW1000R & GP40-2....but other than that TSW2 (and soon TSW3) will be removed

 

If you wish to play the old NEC you need TSW2! Otherwise there is no diffrence!

 

Yes I did this with TSW2020 to TSW2 and uninstalled TSW2020 then did the same with TSW2 and TSW3 and I still have stuff like NTP and that’s why it says TSW3 compatible

 

Yes, however a couple of scenaros where you may want to (at least temporarily) keep the prior version as well as the new one are:

1. Transferring your progress (route completions, medals etc.) if it is the same platform
2. Trophies/achievements, as they are seperate for each game

 

The old NEC (NEC NY) was only compatible with TSW2020....it never made the transition to TSW2 (or TSW3/TSW4)

 

Just curious. Why was that does anybody know?

 

They experimented with a different way of making the route that resulted to be incompatible with the new Unreal Engine version 4.23 that TSW2 uses (link).
