Xbox Series X Crashes

Just tried doing a scenario whilst offline and again just one big crash will this ever get resolved

Hi jan a update has just been done for Xbox will this resolve the crashing completely with the game?

 

It's a core update, nothing to do with the crash issues, as there's been no new update in the Xbox thread about it on the Announcements forum.

If my game was fixed I would have responded, however, the last reply to my support ticket was "We're sorry the game's still broken, we're still working on it"

DTG, are you guys actually still working on this as passionately and in-depth as you have stated? Because the last update on the Xbox issues was over a week ago and it seems like you're gearing up the hype train for the next DLC release...

 

Given that they haven't updated the Xbox Crash thread since the 9th, and Matt has this week off (so who's doing the whip cracking in his absence?), my guess is that it's not as high priority as they make out, they already have our money.

 

I got a similar one myself telling me that if I didn’t respond with an update then my ticket would be marked as completed….

 

I replied to my support ticket basically saying this issue is still not fixed just to keep it alive. I would do the same thing if I were you, at the very least to keep it on their radar.

That was the update.

 

Nope, there was stuff for ECML, Vorarlberg, and something else, as stated in the patch notes. For example, they apparently fixed the collectible you can’t collect on Vorarlberg but on inspection you can’t get it still

The silence around this is deafening.

The game has been out on Xbox now for over 3 weeks, and it's been 10 days since the last update on the situation.

What's the latest ETA on a genuine fix for all users, not the previously stated and quite vague some?

 

After DTG manage most urgent issues like collectibles, photomode and easeofacces ui buttons... there is a chance they will glance at minor issues like core flaws and game and dlc crashing, freezing and ctding. Always look on the bright side of life guys...

 

I’ve gone back on to try after a few weeks. So far I’m crashing back to Xbox dashboard 2 out of 10 times. The only way I’ve found to go around this is to set up the continue play function and I don’t get any crashes it only does so if booting from desktop without the continue functioning.

 

Can confirm that today's patch has fixed the crashing issues, as per the latest post on the thread in the Announcements section.

Still experiencing crashing in and round Doncaster and Peterborough on the game

 

Im still crashing or get the out of memory during loading some services out of Penn station around the 7am-9am on NYT new timetable.
This is on Xbox series X. I removed the LIRR DLC and I'm able to load those services with no issues. I guess it is what it is. So there's a work around to play those services

 

Got an out of memory on SEHS.

I was doing one of the St Pancras to Ashford empty stock runs, got stopped at a signal at Ashford and then the error appeared.

 

Still crashing and freezing from time to time.

 

For me I can’t play the whole route, and certain scenarios because every time I go around or near the depot at Doncaster the games just crashes instantly and goes back to the Xbox homepage, same with timetabled freight trains the game just crashes instantly in the Peterborough eastfield area, also starting have issues with AI where an azuma is invisible when passing then one carriage appears suddenly that causes the game to crash too.

 

Which platform are you on?

Are those specific steps you've taken?

How many addons installed etc - anything detailed you can give me and I'll try to copy it.

The game don’t crash on my Xbox Series S after the update, but since then it stuck in the loading screen when I want to go back to the main menu while driving a service. The loading circle appears and runs forever. The workaround is to go to the Xbox main menu and cancel the game from there. This happens no matter what route I was driving before.

 

I am now experiencing crashes on Midland Main Line in Scenario Planner (on a scenario I have created) around 3 miles from East Midlands Parkway (coming from Derby) so not too far from Long Eaton

Platform: Xbox One S
Game Mode: Scenario Planner
Service/Scenario Start Time: 10:20
Step-by-Step Instructions to recreate issue:

• Go into Scenario Planner
• Create a scenario on Midland Main Line heading from Derby to any station towards Leicester
• Drive the scenario and hopefully you will get a CTD or OOM message around 3 miles from East Midlands Parkway

If anyone on XSX is still suffering from CTD's then try turning off the console's capture settings.
I was given the advice from a friend who had similar issues with a different game and whilst it hasn't 100% resolve the problem for me (the game has still crashed a couple of times) at least I can now play it with a moderate degree of confidence.
Settings > preferences > capture & share...pull down the first tab and select "don't capture"'

The biggest problem I'm having though is some extremely choppy framerates (on all three routes) pretty much all the time when looking around the cab, an issue which on one occasion completely froze the game, gave out a weird but brief looped buzzing sound and then shut down my console completely.

 

Hello I’m experiencing crashes on the ecml again in Doncaster on Xbox one s driving the reduced timetable and when I approached Doncaster depot the game did one big crash and thrown me back to Xbox main menu

 

Is there anyone on here experiencing mastery challenge issues with it not updating anymore ? Since the blackpool update
