Hello everyone! I was just wondering how people feel about splitting up the Train Sim World community on the DTG forums. I do know that the Heavy haul route is exclusive to PC and I do think each platform should have its own technical support section. The game is mostly the same on all platforms and with DLC coming out on the same day. I feel like general discussions and news should be condensed to one forum so that we can hear everyone’s opinion and interact with others no matter what they play TSW on.

I agree there should still be platform separation in the troubleshooting / Known bugs sections, but for general discussion I have no problem merging them into one. Even the news and updates could be merged if the release dates are in parity with the PC release.

Good idea- makes a lot of sense to me. As mentioned already, the bug reports section should probably stay split up, but the general discussion, community submissions, and news and announcements (at least now that the releases are at the same time) should probably be merged.

There are plans for changing forum software in the future so I would wait until that happens - we will be able to sort out sections according to the current standard. Doing it now would be extra work.

I am glad to hear that! I feel like it would be good for the community to have discussions as a whole! Thank you for letting us know!

Can we also get a Community projects & developers area for TS2019?

Hmm. Crosses fingers that changed forum software doesn't mean that existing users, posts and attachments are lost and also means an improvement in functionality for users as well as for admins.
