Installment 6 in a multipart chronological depiction of an Autumn morning stopping passenger service QuickDrive on Golden Age Developments' freeware West of England Mainline route, recently updated to "phase 2", which extends tracks further eastward to Yeovil Town. Our journey begins there, stopping at all stations until the drive terminates at Exeter. I considered using an official standard scenario for this first complete run on the extended route, but didn't want the hassle of keeping to a possibly tight timetable that might impede screenshot capture. That being the case, I elected to power the train with Caledonia Works' rendering of the LSWR 415/0415 class 4-4-2T steam locomotive, commonly known as the Adams Radial Tank. It is seen in Adams Brown Livery, pulling six LSWR coaches. The loco proved insufficient for the task at hand, though we finish the run, by means I'll divulge at the appropriate time. Chard Junction Station: Chard Junction Station: Chard Junction Station: ADDENDUM: My prior posting, featuring an LNWR Webb Coal Tank, has been updated, adding a new opening image and replacing three doctored images I ultimately decided were a bit garish with tamer doctorings of those same captures. Talyllyn Railway Tattoo Class '4' 'Peter Sam' arrives west into Abergynolywn, Wales in the United Kingdom with 4 coaches operating a night time service originating from Tywyn Wharf stopping only at the signal boxes of Pendre, Brynglas, the station of Dolgoch for water and then finally at another signal box at the Quarry Siding before arrival at Abergynolywn travelling 6 miles. Usually; this locomotive is known as '4' 'Edward Thomas' but has been repainted into a Skarloey Railway 'Peter Sam' livery from the fictional Thomas & Friends TV Series to entertain children traveling on the railway at the time of this stormy Summer night service! A random thing, something with scripts... right click what seems to be the image file name and choose Reload Image.
Hmm that's strange; it's a single screenshot as I didn't get any others from this run and it appears fine on my own computer but fails to appear on my mobile phone. I don't really know how to fix it; I have tried re-adding the screenshot a few times but doesn't seem to work.
Load the capture in an image editor and save it in another website-acceptable format. Use that to replace the original. I don't know that that will work, but don't know that it won't.
It is a JPG. It works fine on my end. This is the raw link, not sure what it will do: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/attachments/kerr-stuart-tattoo-class-36-jpg.157931/ Are you saying that the right click method doesn't work? These forums have scripts or something to avoid loading pictures in posts not visible, and it sometimes fails. It affects everyone, including decrepitts, Blazin and myself. I have no idea how to fix that on a phone. Case in point, if your browser can show the image on that link, there is no problem with the picture. Note, there is a funny character at the beginning of it: ...nts/%7Fk...

Installment 8 in a multipart chronological depiction of a mid-summer stopping passenger service QD, from Carlisle to Settle, on DTG Settle to Carlisle route. Prime motivation for the run was to check out the then recently installed AP Veggie Pack. It also came to me that I've never featured Donington's Midland Rwy reskin for CW's GERT26 2-4-0 tendered steam locomotive. According to Rail Map Online, Settle to Carlisle was, in pre-grouping days, part of MidRwy. That, plus an absence of bona fide MR steam locos in my roundhouse, makes the reskin a logical choice. Appleby Station. A series favorite, this image graces my Win10 Desktop Background folder: By this stage of the drive, we have entered territory where scenery becomes uncomfortably sparse (for screen capture purposes). That said, it remains reasonably robust near the tracks, thanks partly to AP's vegetation pack: RWE2 (gimped due to serz error), AP S&W2+Clouds+Veggies TO BE CONTINUED . . .

I have played and screenshotted this scenario already some time ago now but thought I would play it again to get some better screenshots since I last played the scenario a long time ago! With the EMD GP9s beginning to become out performed by newer diesel locomotives; BNSF has chosen to take some of their leftover EMD GP9 stock from fallen flag railroads for scrap. BNSF EMD GP9 '1614' is the leader of this unique service with 5 EMD GP9s being coupled behind. The train departs northwards from Victorville on the Cajon Subdivision on a clear Summers afternoon and travels 32 miles without issue to Barstow where the locomotives will be taken apart for scrap with only a stop at Helendale in between to wait for a passing freight train. I took 2 screenshots on this run here that were similar to the ones I took from when I first did this scenario. It provides an interesting comparison on how my screenshot style and skills have progressed since a long time ago (maybe even just over a year ago now, I can't remember!) as well as the graphics improvements and changes I have made to the game since then with various external DLC and programs. After having to reinstall my game and all my mods (still in the process of doing), I ended up with a bit more space on my PC, so naturally the first thing I did, was grab the AP cloud pack. Threw it onto a few US routes, with the original Feather River Canyon line being one of them. Coupled with my reshade preset, this was the result.
Installment seven in a multipart series chronologically documenting a mid-Autumn morning stopping passenger service Heritage Rail Tour QuickDrive, from Crewe to Holyhead, on North Wales Coast Line route, acquired during Steam's Winter 2023/24 sale. Having belonged to LNWR in pre-grouping days, I power the train with a favorite steam-era loco, Caledonia Works' LNWR "Greater Britain", No.3435 "Queen Empress" to be exact, seen in Lilac & Cream livery. Though Greater Britain looks to be a conventional 2-4-2 tendered locomotive it is, in actuality, a 2-2-2-2 compound loco.
