I won't lie, it really is seeming like that. They can't see to get many licenses for things, so they're just doing what they can... a bit worrying indeed.

They like to reuse stuff, that's no surprise. That explains a lot of it to me at least. We also know from TS19 routes that they have plenty of licenses for modern operators, so licensing shouldn't completely stop them from new routes. But there is definitely some licensing issues going on.

There is on the modelling scene a massive market for BR era stuff. Diesel galas and railtours are often full maybe it's a market which is there to be got as TS2019 probably went too far with modern releases. Also older traction is easier to access for recording etc.

Maybe I'm speaking from a personal point of view here though but personally very pleased that DTG have looked on the BR era as a period created.

was found an achievement for Keyston cab car too, but I'm pretty sure that will be another DLC, or better a new route!

Considering it was put in alongside the SW1000R, I would expect it to be the same pack, they're just holding off on showing it for some reason. I don't think they'd sell a cab car as its own DLC.

yep, a cab car has a DLC itself isn't that great, but I still remember you that the achievament is mark has ''Keystone'', so I would give the possibility that is a new route.

Or it’s called Keystone because one of the trains the cab cars are used on is the Keystone service...they don’t change the name of the train when it’s in New York or anything, it’s still called the Keystone service.

BR is fine but my issue is that we’d got 3 UK routes which were all BR. I’m guessing they had nothing else to use because you would have spread them out better if they had others available.

Nothing, it's just the achievements on the cab car are named after the Keystone service since those are the services it runs on. We probably won't see a Keystone Corridor route since DTG has SEpTA licensing problems and already has an Amtrak Electric route.

I unfortunately bought the boring NEC route because I like Amtrak (long distance) .. Anyways this is interesting but I hope the physics are right cuz I unloaded nec cuz of what Matt said about substitutions. To release this without physics pt2 would be a disaster.

I think he meant releasing it without the update giving the NEC GP38-2 and GP40-2 the updated physics.

Screenshots show a single-chime. I'm not a fan of the single-chimes, but it gets the job done.

From videos and pictures online, it's a single-tone, don't know which one though.

It might actually be Norfolk Southern. Recently DTG released the n-line for Train Simulator, and now the gp60 in NS livery.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next US route was Norfolk Southern, though I do think a route from the western USA is more likely. Out of Norfolk Southern routes I would say that Horseshoe Curve would be most likely as it is the right length for TSW and also has the opportunity for adding Amtrak diesel services.

Agree and what’s sad that is they was coming out back to back with all the German routes and the BR DLC train as well. So I guess they going to work something on the U.S route

Makes a lot of sense, actually, it's the right length, has commuter operations which DTG seems to like for North American routes, and can be modeled well with just 3 driving cabs- the only big problem with that is that unlike the other routes we've already seen in TS19 that have come to TSW, they can't really make anything different here, since they already have basically Caltrain's entire fleet modeled.

What would be interesting is if we didn't get Caltrain... but Southern Pacific...

I call dibs on that as a route proposal if they aren't already making it, by the way.

Except they don't have a Metra license. They made one unbranded route in TS, but in TSW they don't want to do any unbranded routes.

The surprisingly detailed cab of the TS1 GP60. The DLC could have a F40PH-2 + the Nippon Sharyo cab car and an UP GP60.

Metra can always be worked on for later. The focus could be on Amtrak Chicago & the freight including and all of the services that go in and out of the union station. This is where they can introduce equipment like:

    Genesis P42DC
    Superliners I/II (Diner,Sleeper,Coach, Baggage, Sightseer)
    Horizon Set
    Amfleet IIs
    F40PH Cab car
    Genset
    Chargers
    Heritage Fleet
    Dash 8
    Viewliner I,IIs

They can add DLCs already released like the Amtrak switcher, the Metroliner Cab Car and add the Amfleet Is

The DLCs are endless and they can be released in sets according to the Real life Amtrak Service Names like:

California Zephyr/Texas Eagle (P42DC, Superliner I Set & Baggage Car)
Southwest Chief/Empire Builder/Capitol Limited (P42DC/Chargers, Superliner IIs Set)
    Blue Water/ Hiawatha(P42DC, Horizon Set)
Lincoln Service (P42DC, Horizons, Amfleet IIs)
Cardinal (P42DC, Vewliners I, IIs, Baggage car, Heritage diner, Amfleet IIs)
Pere Marquette (P42DC, F40PH02 Cab Car, Superliner I Coaches)

    etc........

Although releasing this many for one route would not be a good business model, they can release 2 sets and those can be added to other existing routes like the NEC or Heavy haul for AI services.
