    Hello everyone,

I bought Train Simulator Classic and have fivequestions:

    1. In the Academy -> Tutorial area, everything is empty. Is that correct?

    2. Is there a way to reset the XP points/levels? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the program and deleted the folder in Local Appdata. This reset the settings, but not the XPs/levels. Are these saved in Steam itself (Steam Cloud is deactivated)

    3. Where are the settings saved? Apparently not under Documents, Appdata or Local Appdata. I strongly suspect that they are saved in the game folder. Does anyone know where exactly?

    4. In the menu, the keys "ä" and "ö" are for the brakes. However, the braking force is activated with both keys. In Train Sim World, the braking force was reduced with one key and increased with the other. Is this a bug?

    5. How can I change the Keyboard mapping?

    Greetings

    1) Out of the box the Academy should not be empty.

749006 thank you! Is it possible that the tutorials depend on the DLCs?

WoodlandTracks the Academy is full of Tutorials. Only „Tutorial“ is empty

Ah I see , when I compare that to mine I would say that is ok. I only have them for some routes I bought later on.

There are two types of tutorials. I never checked how exactly.
The first is the literal academy. There have been two versions over the years, currently it's 40 scenarios.
The second is a scenario usually showing off the basics of a train. (In ages past, those have been simply Standard.)

The first is showing scenarios of TS Academy DLC, which is relatively important for assets as well.
Usually included with yearly TSC collections...

I read somewhere that the tutorials are only unlocked through DLCs, but I wasn't sure.
The way you phrase it, it sounds like the content of the tutorials should be filled even without DLCs?

Well, you are correct in a special way! ;)

The Academy is itself an App. You can't purchase it, but usually you don't have to.
This specific view shows (with the little globe icon) whichever Package gives it to you.
As you can see, normally you'd have it (purchasing TSC 2024 or the Sub) but there are a few oddball packs possibly without it (Game of Gnomes maybe).

The second group - train / route introductions - are indeed filled by DLC, a couple per.
For example if you have New York - New Haven, you'll get the ACS-64 driving tutorials. Many DLC have them, but not all.

If your list of DLC is empty, or missing items, it can be for two reasons.
Important to understand that one way or another these are just special scenarios. Similar to Career vs Standard vs Free Roam vs etc.
One, obviously, the Apps installed don't have such scenarios. I don't have Academy installed.
Two, unlikely to result in an empty list, but scenarios are hidden from these lists if you don't have their route. So if you have the P42DC but without Marias Pass, you'd not see its scenarios. There was a glitch that using the free text search (top right) would show them anyway, but then upon pressing Drive, the game would just crash.
