    Got any UK suggestions?
Me personal top 5 would be:
5: West Highland Line South + North Western Glasgow Network (Glasgow QSLL to Helensburgh, Milngavie & Balloch via Anniesland ONLY)
4: North Clyde Line East - Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street Low Level via Airdrie + Springburn branch
3: North Wales Main Line: Crewe to Llandudno
2: South West Main Line: Exeter St. David's to Plymouth + Paignton Branch.
    1. Great Eastern Mainline: Ispwich to Norwich + Bittern Line: Norwich to Sheringham/Cromer

Going around the former BR Regions:
Scotland: Some sort of Inverness based network, maybe Aviemore to Dingwall with the Aberdeen line out to Forres. Late 70's or early 80's when the Class 26's still dominated the North and Kyle Lines and there was plenty of freight traffic.
London Midland: No brainer this one, North Wales Coast, set in the late 70's for the best of BR Classic.
Western: Another no brainer, Riviera line from Exeter to Paignton, maybe also Plymouth. Early 70's for diesel hydraulic action.
Southern: The Oxted Lines from East Croydon to East Grinstead and Uckfield, plus the connecting line from Eridge to Tunbridge Wells. Before electrification so pure Thumper heaven with Class 205's and 207's. Class 33's on the loco hauled peak services from Uckfield to London Bridge and back.
Eastern: Wherry Lines, Norwich to Yarmouth and Lowestoft but also throw in the Sheringham branch. Again BR Classic to give us Cravens DMU's and loco hauled galore on Summer Saturdays.

For me (In no particular order)
    1) Waterloo - Portsmouth Harbour (set in the late 80s/early 90s)
    2) North Wales Coast Mainline (Chester to Holyhead + Llandudno Branch via Deganwy)
    3) More Heritage Railways such as Great Central Railway, Bluebell Railway & East Lancs Railway*
    4) Preston - Crewe (set in late 80s/early 90s)
    5) Wherry Lines (set during the DRS Class37/Class68 takeover)

*its my understanding that this thread (https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/esk-valley-and-nymr.77097/page-2#post-879463) is to become an actual DLC for TSW and so it looks like we could be getting the NYMR in TSW. This looks to be confirmed on Aug 21st 2024

-Settle and Carlisle w/ Class 50 "Hoover" (MSTS had this engine on their S&C Line Route)
-ECML: 1960s with Class 55 Deltics (desperately needed in game!)
-Something modern w/ Class 69s or Class 70s on heavy freight

You don't have to make them all separate posts.

Three essential lines that should be on TSW in my opinion:
    • Riviera Line
    • Settle to Carlisle Line
    • West Highland Line

Are there are any proper UK network routes other than SEHS (Is it even a network route?) and Cardiff City Network (Not yet released), if no I would like to see more if that, maybe something similar would see success in Liverpool (As MerseyRail) or in Glasgow (As ScotRail).

There is plenty of scope for further network style routes.
Cathcart Circle could be developed into a wider Glasgow network. BCC should have been the first stage in a West Midlands network. Bristol could form the basis of a little network, Bath, Bristol Parkway, Severn Beach and Weston SM. Newcastle Metro or even pre Metro diesel suburban network. A rural network could be the Oxted Lines from East Croydon to East Grinstead and Uckfield, set back far enough and the route from Eridge to Tunbridge Wells was still open. There are still plenty of London Underground lines to be done that could offer a network style experience - Met/Circle/District, Northern and Central lines.

The upcoming Manchester Airport Commuter route will have a similar template to Cathcart Circle (just not being circular), but having a ‘mainline’, a loop, a short stubby branch and then various depots and yards. I think it will replicate something close to a network, but might fall short unless they can add future layers and services. Hopefully ATS go bigger with a follow-up release and try something groundbreaking!

I would love to see more heritage routes like, SVR, KWVR, NYMR and KESR.

Metropolitan Line and the Piccadilly Line.

Thames Valley branches to Greenford, Brentford, Colnbrook, Windsor, Marlow and Henley on Thames added to GWE

There is a PC editor thread where Andy Gough is building the NYMR and the Esk Valley Line being developed for TSW as an official Dev, not sure when it will release though.

Would have agreed once, but not after Just Trains have managed to nail Preston - Carlisle.

Given the SVR are in the hole (literally) with a massive land slip to repair, now might be the time for a route with some of the proceeds fed back to the railway. Of course it would require a recommitment to steam which DTG probably don’t want to give, but there’s probably enough in the sim already you could do the route without any new motive power.

OV, that would be a lovely gesture if DTG or someone took it on. I often visit the SVR and it is devastating that the landside occured and Bridgnorth station, where they get a lot of income out of the shop, cafe and pub, which is now not accessible until the line is repaired.

lt would be wonderful if this line was produced for TSW and some of the money would certainly help with the restoration and repairs now required on the SVR.

No it isn't. It's a more interesting location than London.

To go from Peterborough to Newcastle is 175 miles. For a TSW route, that's way too long.

True. York to Newcastle would be better.
