ok, not only the headlights and alerter on Rotem Cab Car got broken, but also on the F125 (AVL version) the alerter sound doesnt work (you can only see alerter light go on on the cab screen)
Pressing L doesn't seem to turn on the cab light in the cab car. Quite a challenge getting it started in the dark without a light... EDIT: Went back to do the service in daylight and have found the cab light switch, but I can confirm pressing L doesn't switch the switch. But if I manually flip the switch, I still see no light popping up.
Possibly related to above, but a seperate issue. Headlights don't seem to work, even if switched on (unless it needs another switch I've overlooked somewhere?). Also, gauge lights are turned on but I don't see them emit light. All related to the cab car.
Has Anyone been able to complete the ConFare Scenario? I keep getting stuck at Vista Canyon Station due to 2 A.I trains & Red lights not working for A.I trains .
Metrolink Antelope Valley Updated timetable’s formations to allow San Bernadino’s MP36 loco substitution. Really? I'm not even asking where is MP36, because I knew in advance that she wouldn't be there.
Another commenter mentioned this as well. Perhaps the update for AVL that will enable the MP36 substitution will come with the release of the new loco DLC for that route in a few weeks, and the patch notes just accidentally slipped into today’s ones. I certainly hope the substitution isn’t dependent on purchasing the new loco DLC, which would make no sense. Edit: Matt stated they’re aware & looking into it in his stream.
That's exactly what I thought. But this does not change the fact that there are now 4 identical locomotives to choose from. Or was it before the update?
I am happy to report that headlights on Rotem Cab Car do indeed work, as does the alerter too... havent tried F125, but will do when I have some time
Interesting for some reason on my end The 2 passing AI Trains when you arrive to Vista Canyon station get stuck leaving my train stuck waiting for the A.I trains to clear the signals and Clear the signals so I can pass Santa Clarita Station .
Can someone remind me why we still can't use the San Bernardino cabcar for this route? Also why is it that on the same day of the same month the sun is already rising in San Bernardino, but it is still night in Antelope Valley? Are these routes from different planets or something?
Yes, I managed to notice. Either different track configs, or suspension configs, but on San Bernardino the suspension work is more noticeable. Plus the San Bernardino cabcar responds more smoothly to braking, it doesn't tugging so hard(maybe the reason for this is the different versions of the F125). By the way, during the whole run from Lancaster to LA I noticed one(just one) Bombardier car on the AI train. Still better than 0.
Antelope Valley • Fixed an issue causing F59PH and F125 playable services to only use Rotem formations. It doesn't seem to work. All the AI trains and the player train are fully Rotem cars. Also alerter in cabcar seems to stop working. Because I've been driving for 2 minutes without changing the controller's position, and it's still silent. Of Course I've turned it on as always(shift+num enter & ctrl+num enter). Yeah, It's definitely dead - it didn't make a sound on the run from Lancaster to Newhall.
As you may have noticed, it's PH and not PHR. So where is my Bombardied cabcar!? And this time you won't get away with it, DTG!
yea but I dont have any F59PH in there... is it a freight loco from one of the US freight DLCs? Edit: I have Google-d all over the internet, but F59PH is atm only available for Train Simulator Classic, but isnt in Train Sim World
No, they just pasted the text of the fixes from their build into the public version patch notes as usual. F59PHR hasn't been released yet, and F59PH hasn't even been announced. Just a typo. Sadly.
June 22th. 21:00. Night fell more than an hour ago (which is already a bug), but the station lights in Lancaster are still off. The lights of the scenery are glowing, but the station is in pitch darkness.
I noticed that around Via Princessa is a lot floating grass in the sky, I can't remebr if I noticed it last I drove the route before the latest update. It's causing a huge drop in fps.
Closing the doors closes all of them when I press forward and rear close they should add the feature from Blackpool pacers where pressing local open while the door is open triggers the close buttons.
I quite like AVL but for goodness sake, whoever compliled the Journey Mode this is not typical Southern California weather (AVL 221 Part 2). The one consolation of running this relatively slow route is being able to enjoy the scenery, not yet another run in a TSW thunderstorm that never ends. It honestly looks and feels more like driving across Rannoch Moor in Scotland than a parched arid area that sees rain a few times a year.
Almost every journey mode service on every route is either foggy, Stormy or nighttime. There are zero exceptions, as even if the rare one starts clear and sunny, it'll be foggy with minutes
Oh yes it's extremely annoying - they did it with Boston Sprinter too, every run in the winter and most in a howling blizzard. But they should stop and think of the actual climate the region enjoys certainly in the case of desert routes!
