Nope they are more accurate physics for the 166 and not bugs. Personally the hst isn't any slower than before.
I like it a lot! The 86s were something I didn't see often as I have always lived on the ECML but when I have seen them they really have a good...
This could be done and would be enjoyable but I think GW steam is so synonymous with the English Riviera that a 30s Western route would feel wrong...
Not necessarily as they will be able to get more experience to more efficiently built routes as time goes on therefore making longer routes easier.
Why not! Good idea!
The 166 is pretty much exactly true to how it is in real life acceleration wise and so is not a bug. They are surprisingly slow in real life...
I don't think all of the problems with bml are due to the length. Also the routes are usually 'tuned down' for the consoles so that they should...
It is not impossible as the length of routes ai starting too increase and if we are going to limit suggestion to routes of no more than 50 miles...
I like the ecml idea for the azumas as I think that is what we need in the game.
Yep a big well done and thanks to them on the brilliant work they have done!
Lets hope there aren't any tight bends!!
I suppose it is much better than the old east coast silver livery but like you say each to their own.
Living right along side the ecml I cannot wait for the day when I can look out my window and not have to look at the terrible vtec livery they...
Yeah but it is also on west cornwall.
Sorry I forgot to say that you do also need the heavy freight pack for Northern trans-pennine as well. Sorry not to have made this clear originally.
No problem mate
Northern trans-pennine
Personally it's a good route but would love to see the 90s on it.
I think that is what has been said but I don't play on the ps4 so can't confirm for sure.
Living along the ECML all my life I am very reluctant to say this but... Western locos have a certain presence and beauty that no other loco...
The lower memory of the ps4 means to keep quality high freight trains aren't as varied on 8th gen with the planks wagons being the only wagon in...
Route: Tees Valley Line Loco: BR Class 37 [ATTACH]
Every train which is of a different class of another is going to be different in the way it handles. As the example the power of the brakes and...
Being from a bit further up north along the ECML for all my life there always has been a special place in my heart for LNERs fleet which I do...
Honestly even early electrics with some diesel locos would suit me but the Britannias are very tempting.
Yes I would be happy with that as it would be something different for me to experience as for me personally that is the whole point of a train...
No we don't. I could not care less what the window looks like. The reason I use electrostars as the example is because they seem to appear so...
Yes I understand it's a commuter route but I don't see why this should stop it being based in an older era as people have used railways to commute...
I am not from Essex but I am sure that if you were to go back 60 plus years the same would have been said about steam trains though. I think this...
Well look at a cab view from a class 76 and compare it to a 377. You will see the difference.
Steam engines are very interesting machines which many of us have memories of so I don't see why they shouldn't be in the game. They are such an...
Well if you don't like spirit of steam don't play it but there are many people in the community which really enjoy older stuff compared too your...
I personally don't think it would as things were better in the old days.
Personally it being in the modern era is the biggest drawback of the route as the electrostars are incredibly dull.
Route: Spirit of Steam: Liverpool to Crewe Loco: LMS Jubilee [ATTACH]
Honestly I think the only attraction would be the turbostar as I cant deal with another electrostar for a while now and I do not want another...
From what I remember in the stream it was briefly mentioned that assisted is where you can control the fire and AI does things such as dampers and...
Yeah the flypast was nice to watch especially the typhoons ( I think) making the 70.
Someone suggested this not too long ago but I will still give you my thoughts. It is a very nice route not too many miles away from where I live...
Yeah a brilliant route and nice to have a positive thread about an overall positive moment for TSW. Well done DTG.
I think timetable is quite nice tbh. It's nice not every service is the same as you get a range of different consists which go different lengths...
Route: Spirit of Steam Liverpool to Crewe Locos: LMS 8f and LMS Jubilee [ATTACH]
Overall very happy with the route and worth every penny. Well done DTG and lets hope we can have more steam in the future. I truly believe you...
To be fair to DTG the tutorials are very informative and helpful but obviously its your decision.
Being English and living in England all my life I obviously prefer the English routes.
Like the above I totally agree as the Electrostars are, like you say, becoming repetitive and aren't a challenge to drive. I also agree with the...
What year/time period would it be based in?
Agreed.
V2s are the locos I would like to be in TSW most.
