From some very brief fiddling it does seem that "only front damper at 25%" does produce more steam than "both front and rear dampers at 25%". I'd...
The tasks are now properly updating, so it seems like the issue was fixed.
What is the purpose of this poll? What information are DTG hoping to gain from this?
Not saying five people isn't a small team, but we don't know how that compares to DTG's team sizes.
Well, I don't think we know how big JT's team is and how it compares size-wise to DTG's teams.
Are you certain of that? Have you compared opening both dampers to 100% vs. opening one damper to 100% and leaving the other closed?
The question is about how the game's simulation works, which may not correspond with reality.
That is absolutely not what you said in the first post!
So which dampers are you meant to use? From some very brief fiddling it seems like you're meant to use the ones in the same direction of travel.
If you want a really good example of guards in train sims, check out the Japanese sim Train Crew:...
You are more optimistic than I if you think that means anything.
No, it'll get removed. You can find all the relevant information in the old MML feedback thread.
I have just discovered information about SHG which means I will not purchase any products from them.
Well it is on sale, which is why I’m asking.
The discounts are pretty high, but is the content worth it?
Can you clarify some points? Firstly, are you saying that the editor can be used to export models from official routes? Since this presumably...
Has anyone tried this with e.g. a basic scenario? Can they confirm it works?
Since the last couple of days this problem has gotten worse - now neither of the two Ruhr-Sieg Nord Tier 2 Mastery tasks are showing any progress...
The brutal fact of the matter is this: why should we trust you?
Tossing around some ideas for potential timetables one could make and wanted to know if this was possible.
If we need to remove all our created stuff from the editor, how can we cook anything?
What was the point of you saying that the Union Workshop weren't discounted more than they are in normal Steam Sales?
And?
What precisely is the issue with substitution?
Fundamentally, the problem is that people don't trust DTG to fix issues. If they did people would understand if the editor lacked features.
Yes, that's the point of this thread.
I'm not, but it's worth reminding people that all the talk of "increased transparency" is turning out to be lies.
Well, the F40PH. Not criticising people for using Free Roam as it's intended but if you're going for authenticity one's been used by Amtrak for...
Nearly been a month now...
But you shouldn't, see this thread: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/rule-39a-and-why-it-is-necessary.73240/ Unfortunately TSW's...
I don't understand why everyone's using the F125 for Amtrak services?
Judging by past experience with TSC releases, Scotland and Wales are part of the "Holy Trinity" and Northern Ireland is not.
Are you American? Freight-only lines in the UK are invariably short spurs.
I would suspect Forza has a much larger team making levels than TSW has making routes...
Is the train rolling?
I'd recommend you start a TSW page on the Cutting Room Floor website (https://tcrf.net/The_Cutting_Room_Floor) - this is the sort of stuff they're...
I found the hiker in the "Take a Hike" scenario but it's impossible to interact with him. I'm on Steam.
When you get an "out of bounds" message just click "return to free roam" and then press Ctrl+Shift+0 to return to the cab.
Read this web page. It explains PZB very simply and clearly: https://www.sh1.org/eisenbahn/rindusi.htm
Does the game even bother keeping track of that? I spawned an F125 on Arosalinie and it happily gallivanted up the line.
Yes. I have also tried selecting services through the Journey mode.
But you'll also lose steam pressure faster.
I am on Steam. I am trying to complete the Ruhr-Sieg Nord Mastery Task "Freight Forwarder", which entails completing two scenarios or timetable...
Yes, I agree with all this, but if you need to build steam you shut the regulator, you don't open it.
That wouldn't affect the dispatch logic IIRC, it's well-known that the editor has a "dispatch beyond" checkbox.
I think you're rather confused about how the regulator works.
No, it is not a limitation with TSW's dispatcher logic. See all the routes where you don't get red signals at station stops.
Water isn't simulated at all on the 8F/Jubilee/4F either, is it? Two games later and steam is still far below the low standards of MSTS at launch.
I would say the dispatching is wrong but the signals are right.
That's not strictly speaking a problem with the signals.
Separate names with a comma.
