is your copy of TSW2 digital or disc?
Please, nobody tell this guy about the holiday express DLC... Not without a defibrillator on standby.
Indeed. I am someone who prefers the less "gamey" more "simmy" aspects and play timetable almost exclusively, only dipping into scenarios...
I used to regularly use it in the early 90s. It's familiar enough to know it by sight. All the TSW stations have some glaringly "off" bits though,...
TVL and Transpennine are my closest, with Transpennine being my most used one. Very different of course to the route I am used to.
Personally I always found it unrealistic and immersion breaking that I couldn't be the guard on a service. There wasn't even a visible NPC one....
Alrighty then, so the bottleneck is indeed not a matter of how fast it's loading the files, but rather the processes the game needs to go through...
Yeah, that's fair, I remember going to good places on them.
I'm sure there are a fair few. Though I imagine numbers are higher among folks who didn't have to ride them :D
This can depend heavily on the platform you have the game on. I see lots of posts from players on the forum where it hasn't done so, Playstation...
Can the physics engine handle them though? :D
Not been there since the early 2000s, so I've not seen the new ones. I do remember there being pacers though.
You will need to download the TSW3 versions of all the routes you own, but all your TSW2 DLC licences transfer over to TSW3
Like a regular off peak ticket but it wears its underpants on the outside and has a cape.
I've only taken this as far as Llandudno, but it was a nice day out. Though for Welsh lines, I'd really love to see the south wales valleys,...
But given it's consistent irrespective of your internet connection speed, or even not being connected to the internet at all, it's clearly more...
The logical approach is to just in the meantime wholly disable the "New" flag on the console version, shouldn't be more than a single line that...
Thanks for that, ChatGPT. Super useful and insightful input.
By my reckoning that would work out at about half as many gigabytes as the size of my install, if you have all the UK DLC and the four routes from...
TSW2 on the same system, same installed addons, minus SKW, CJP, BCC, BBO, EBG, NYT and NTB loads from full shutdown in 8 seconds even without...
A quick test I did just now. 220GB install, 56 addons. Series X: 1 Minute 57 seconds. Series S: 1 Minute 41 Seconds
Ah, I missed that stream. Couldn't they just like, toggle it off indefinitely for consoles until they have a workable system for it?
With almost every DLC installed, my Series X gives me enough minutes to go and fill up and boil the kettle, pick out which tea I fancy, stick it...
Although I imagine for folks who sign in to a dovetail account, that has its own issues, as quick resume and online logins never play nice.
If you're on console, you don't. Ever. And neither do DTG, apparently, since they refuse to even acknowledge the issue every time we bring it up.
Every route perpetually showing as "New" is a known issue, has been since TSW3 launched. No word on a fix afaik. As for your progress on...
Blues and whites always hurt my eyes, I really miss sodium lamps at night, the LED ones are so uncomfortable. Vastly prefer the colour scheme I...
"You see, when a duck and a minibus love each other very much...."
OMG remember when CP77 didn't have separate XBox One/Series versions? And merely ran in backcompat on SX/S but with "gen9aware" enhancements? And...
Never encountered that before from any game with such settings, the worst you can do is push the framerate on a launch model XBox One (I've tried)...
Bad games can still have examples of a single thing they get right. A game can be literally completely unplayable but have some really solid UI...
This is why I appreciate how on XBox this is a system-level feature, overriding any individual game's layout, letting you remap your inputs in the...
However, "best" is a very subjective matter. Some people for example, think depth of field effects don't look like absolute garbage that shatters...
I really like a bunch of games which offer these kinds of granular PC style options on console, it's pretty good on XBox in particular where you...
We certainly don't need it to show as "New" for nine months and counting, no matter how much we play it!
Attenuation and gamma sliders in the ingame menu so we can modify them on console when, DTG?
I'd like to see work on just basic nuisance bugs like how on console every last route and loco is permanently flagged as "new" in bright yellow.
The nice soft TSW2 one that didn't burn my eyes. And wasn't topsy turvy in how it highlights the selected option.
As an XBox player I am quite happy to wait indefinitely for them to get it to work on PS5 properly before they think of porting it to XBox. When...
The baldness issue on this route has been there for ages.
I've been asking for 1440p as an option across the board on consoles for ages, would massively help when the dips below 60 on Series X take it...
This is brilliant.
Rookie mistake, put them all around the reservoir feeding the hydro plant.
My cities are all about trains. I make them as walkable as possible with massive elevated rail networks connecting EVERYWHERE.
People are passionate about the game, they want to like it. they want to be able to like it, and to recommend it to their friends. That's the...
Highlight TSW3 in your dashboard. Press start, and choose "Manage game and addons" choose "Manage installation on (the name of your drive), and...
The day DTG update the lighting to match this kind of natural, realistic look that doesn't leave permanent scarring on my retinas, I will go out...
Of course, as climate change progresses, the game will actually become more of a historical snapshot, a time capsule, as the fog gets less...
I still swear that someone saw the material properties for "Grass" and thought it said "Glass" so set the specularity appropriately.
