In America I think the Beatles reference is more known. I could be wrong though.
As a Yank and a Beatles fan, I alway thought it was Beatles related (dovetail joint). Is it?
DTG: Please look at the end of this. Red signals and unexplained errors (“your train is on the wrong track”). Contacting the signaller doesn’t...
Thank you!!! Am I glad I’m not alone on this one!!!
I’m at 49.
All the red signals and complications in Timber Log Delivery are driving me nuts. It’s no fun to keep seeing “Signal failure” or having the train...
Just using the numbers on the driving wheel creates a really useful cruise control for the most part. I was surprised to read that in the manual...
Thanks!! I should’ve thought of that.
Can someone please explain why I keep getting “signal passed at danger” when I try to reverse direction and couple with the two vehicles at the...
Keep getting signal failures on the link up with the other cars. Do I need to switch cabs to the other end or contact the signaller? Thx.
On PS, use the circle O button.
The manual (so far on just the Steam board) was a help. There’s a link elsewhere on this board.
Thanks.
Same here. If I was the real engineer my passengers would also be experiencing multiple stops. :)
I never recoupled, just went ahead without them, which, obviously, was why I got the formation error. I'll remember this if I repeat the scenario...
Is there a manual available somewhere either for PS or Steam?
Yeah, that’s what I ended up doing. And I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who got the formation error.
Stupid question… in the intro how do you alert the signaller to get to the coupling?
Well after coupling all the cars, I uncoupled the locomotive and left the rest there. That seemed to be all the game was asking for. Duh.
Maybe I’m an oddball but scenery isn’t the only thing I look at in this game. The experience of handling the train in different scenarios and...

After almost getting to the end and coupling the rest of the autorack cars to formation and then heading the train the other way towards...
My question was how to turn them on? I scouted all over the place and couldn’t find it. Thanks for letting me know they’re on the bottom right side.
I voted HMA, but also like Peninsula Corridor because I’ve ridden it.
It’s been posted several times. Here’s one. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/problem-in-bay-area-breakdown-in-pacific-corridor.36783/
How should I boost the MR pressure?
Bakerloo has died for me at Edgware Road. I see it’s been dying for other people to on the route and that happened to me once but this is at the...
I do the Save game while the game is running. So when I go back to it I at least have the throttle moving. And usually it allows me to keep going...
I ran into this today. I hope it gets fixed.
Am I wrong here or does Bakerloo really shut down if you hit the brakes too hard? I’ve had that happen seemingly a couple of times. How do you...
It happened to me again and changing controllers didn’t help like I did the first time. So it’s definitely an issue.
Restarted the game (finally) and that fixed it.
I’ve tried to move past North Wembley numerous times now. The train stops dead at the station and will not respond to controls. This is on A...
I was able to get past this the first time by changing controllers. That didn’t work the second time.
Can’t get on the train. The cursor is stuck at the pole in front. In fact I can’t move anywhere. The cursor won’t let me move it all.
Well maybe you can help me again. I’m stuck at another point. I’ve stopped behind the sign and I can’t seem to contact the signaller to get a...
Contacting the signaler did it. I was able to pass the point. Thank you very much. I guess I need to pay a little more attention to signs.
Here are some screenshots.
It says “signal passed in danger.” And there’s a red indicator before I start moving that says 135 yards. And when it passes that point is when I...
I’m in Boele Yard working with a BR363 lumber train. I’ve set up the locomotive, got it running, did the first coupling, then uncoupled, stopped...
Agreed. Especially if you're personally familiar with a route (as I am with one). Scenery is not the point of this game, certainly.
Just wondering ... From the game opening, is there a way to get to the main menu directly to return to a saved game from the first menu rather...
Thank you.
Wondering why the train is running so slow? I did everything instructed and it’s running under 10 miles an hour and slowing down. The only thing I...
That really doesn't tell what the difference between the two games is, though. That's what I was wondering about.
Another user in this thread mentioned it's only on the Steam page. Please put a download link in with the other guides, please.
I should have been more specific and said pre-release discounts. But yeah, Steam does seem to have more discounts in general.
I have TSW and TSW2 and have wondered what the difference is with Train Simulator? Does it have the same add-ons, too?
I haven't always bought on day of sale, but I have sometimes. I wish there were discounts like for Steam. I definitely would then.
