I would be cautious. TSC needs as big a singlecore performance as you can afford. Recommended specs are over 3,6 ghz! No amount of extra cores...
Can’t say i keep coming back. But that’s because TSC is the ONLY game i play, and i’ve never been away from it.
This issue has always been particularly bad on RSSLO routes, where the two sides of signs are often too close together.
If any of you are using RWenhancer, try turning fog enhancement off.
I run max fxaa or whatever they are called settings, and the shimmering is there for me as well. So it’s not that.
But not as severe i presume. The distance to the shimmering should be greater.
It’s the shadow quality settings. Anything but the highest will do that. The problem is that the ap veg casts many detailed shadows, i actually...
Something new to dive into. Danke.
Spikee1975 You mention removing window dirt. How did you do that?
They aren’t to my knowledge. Where did you pick that up? They already have 4 TSC routes announced for 24.
Not just RSSLO, but a host of other third party developers. Though the RSSLO stuff is slowly making it’s way to steam.
You should try driving one, before you attest to the “feel” of them. :-)
That’s exactly what they are meant for. Can i add that in Germany you generally will not get contacted by a distatcher just because of a red...
On the contrary. Delays happen all the time, dispatchers change routes and departures of freight trains, particularly in Germany. In real life you...
Perhaps i’m under moderation for having posted videoproof of a bug? Dunno…
It’s actually the first time i’ve ever included links to the scenarios in the video description, and it’s by request. Because, believe it or not,...
Shouldn’t be adblockers. I don’t use adblockers as a princip. I like content creators to get their dole.
Why doesn’t youtube video links work on this forum anymore?
I’ve pasted a regular link in there as well now. EDIT. Apparently not. Why on earth does video link not work here?
REAL DRIVE advanced München - Brenner - München. A virtual Train Simulator dayshift ride. Everything in a REAL DRIVE advanced scenario is...
I wonder if it can display info from the hub. Like distance to next speed restriction, distance to next signal etc….
Though the OP said it was in a free roam.
Thanks for the correct. Then we can add the Scenar…….bin file to the list of files where info can “go missing”. Are QD AI spawnpoints stored in...
If i remember correctly, all that data is stored in the scenariotracks.bin (if it’s markers applied in the scenario editor) and the tracks.bin if...
The thing with moving clouds on a sky dome, as opposed to the silverlining is that in real life, because of perspective, the clouds near you seem...
Try routing the player train via markers that are on the same paths as the trains you want ahead of it. Put in extra scenario markees if necesary....
Don’t think i have ten years behind me. 5 or 6 perhaps. Many hours, and i think i managed to bring something unique to the community, my Real...
I didn’t say they weren’t great routes. They are. Just that the term historical is not correctly applied when speaking of a fictional route.
I think this is where the problem lies in regards to our German sim collegues. Angling it a bit hard it could be said that if one signal is placed...
I really don’t see how a fictional route can be seen as historic.
People are strange sometimes. But you know that the TSC crowd are going to be very grateful for your work :-)
Well i think it’s something to do with what the German sim community want in general. As soon as something happens on a route (such as the outside...
You mean like routes set in pre 2000? Or just routes who has a long history and importance (which would the vast majority of available routes).
Good thing you got it working. As others say, backup the intire railworks installation, always.
You see…Stranger things than grey, blue and black Br101 locs driving freight happens in germany ;-)
Now we are at it. A real QD AI consist builder, so we wont have to go to external apps to do that.
I (and indeed the whole German trainsim community) am looking much forward to your creation.
Gotta agree with Spikee1975 Those assets that many newcomers don’t have surely must put some off the game, when they open a route and have...
Slightly OT. I wonder how the google overlay was visible in the first place, outside the route editor? If it’s possible to have it visible,...
Were you using AP weather? If i recall correctly, it installs a couple of new shaders. Those might have been overwritten by the update. So if you...
Been with the real life one twice :-) Nice to have it in TSC.
Eventhough i am on the latest public version i think this belongs here: The SDB seems to be easily corrupted in the latest versions. I have to...
Also worth looking into is this: if a route has no timeofday folder, it’s probably using the kuju folder. So i simply pasted the ap time of day...
Just a bit of general info on Zub: Zub is not as simple in real life as in TSC. A bit simpler than pzb, but not much.
Peter, i don’t understand the critique of the pzb first then lzb. That’s how it is in real life. When you reach lzb end, the train has to have a...
In quick scenario editing; the ability to lock a switch. Sometimes the dispatcher just get’s the pathing wrong for the player train (and ai...
As a german/austrian route player, i have to say i agree with this.
You didn’t, but i assume(!) it’s the only technical way for the menu to know without the scenario actually being loaded, since it’s the dispatcher...
There are good reasons for it not being so. On mountaneous routes, you can’t count on the last destination being the farthest away. Nor on...
It’s sorted alphabetically. Some scenario creators solve this by giving destinations a number prefix. Some don’t bother.
Separate names with a comma.
