Well considering this thread is about a heritage railway route that won't have a steam loco included I thought it was fitting to mention it. ;)

A perfect opportunity to introduce steam locos to TSW, so what do they do, they give us diesels, SMH. :(
I hope the sounds are improved from what we have at moment, a unrealistically quiet steam loco just won't do the job.
I reckon most would tolerate pacers in preference to TSW getting the FSW treatment.

I seriously doubt they will ever do a route that long, but I wouldn't mind being proven wrong, also I haven't paid full price for anything in TSW...
I think the Tyne and Wear Metro would be a great route for TSW, along with all the extra stock that has been proposed to go with it.
Like improved sounds would be a good start, lets have diesel trains sounding like diesel trains at least.
Well apparently the core updates were to accommodate the updates to NEC, so we do know what the core updates were for, maybe you should have read...

I don't have the NEC route, but received a 410mb update to TSW, can you please tell me what that was for?

I seriously doubt they will extend the GWE or any other route now that they have Xbox one to contend with as that limits how complex the routes...
The issue for me has been solved, But since there was also an update for TSW too, can't say for sure whether it was the Nvidia driver update that...
Well the release of the new route DLC is done and dusted, what can we expect next, creation tools, train DLC for CSX, GWE and Rapid Transit?
I am having exactly the same happen to me and have also sent a support ticket to DTG.
I remember that one of the points made by Matt in the run up to GWE being released was that trains in yards and sidings would not have passengers...
I meant what's next in line for release in TSW in general.

Diesel would be my first choice, Electric second and steam for third and the pure spectacle of sound and vision of clouds of smoke etc, but...
Yeah the rapid transit route is more like a quiet rural route rather than the busy suburban route it's supposed to be.
Please can the moderators sort this out there are 11 threads all started by the some person that are related to TS2018 and not TSW they need to be...
