The Woodhead route has plenty to keep you entertained. I recently added a Woodhead scenario pack from Steam too. It's really one of my most used...
Well done, Peter. This forum really is the place to be to get the best advice.
Both are "top drawer" routes - excellent scenery and plenty of scenario possibilities.
Great pic that.
All I’m learning from this thread is that I’m not spending enough time on TS! I never have a clue!
I came across this online, no idea where it is/was though. [ATTACH] This (non rail, sorry) takes the biscuit though: [ATTACH]
My choice for winner too, well done! Since this is still a newish comp, I thought maybe better to keep with the same thread and can do separate...
Thanks Peter - I know now to ignore the clarion calls of "run a file integrity check" for the slightest problem in the Steam forum!
Very artistic - a worthy winner. Congratulations!
I thought to look under the Build menu in TS, and low and behold Paper Run is listed. So I cloned it, and now the clone appears finally in Career...
No I don't. So if I've been doing file integrity checks, I've been overwriting all my AP sound packs?!
In thinking I might have to start unsubscribing from stuff as it’s getting annoying now.
Thanks for helping and pointing me in the right direction. I have a duplicate installation on my laptop, and the crazy thing is that the scenario...
Why would it disappear though? I’ve reversed the only other changes: unticked the MKS460 and removed fast load, but still no joy. I’ll try TS...
Apart from scenarios that might have come with an AP product or JT route, all other scenarios have been as part of Steam routes, DLC, or...
I’ve reextracted the BRB scenario AP file, see the folder with the name you gave listed in the BRB scenario sub folder, it has contents, but still...
That’s the one, thanks so much, Andy.
I was driving a BR blue newspaper train, doubleheaded by class 73s, out of London Victoria on the Chatham main line. It was a red, four bar...
I’ve run a file integrity check daily this week, and every day I’m told that 500 odd files need replacing, and I’m left wondering what of earth is...
I’ve tried this a few times. Half the time it crashes with OOM, the other few times it loads, I put reverser into forwards, take off the brakes,...
I presume when you save that’s it’s only the last saved scenario that you can access again?
At least if you don't like it, it's a 10 second job to delete a line in options.
Works well for me - every route I've tried so far has gone from about 1:30 to 15-20 seconds. Maybe you just need to give it a 'fair go', majorminor?
This is the scenario I started with, double headed 73s pulling a parcels/newspapers train on the Chatham Mainline out of Victoria. [ATTACH] That...
It works well doesn’t it?
You got that one right. It’s a weird set up, with central controls - couldn’t find the reverser at first.
Still struggling to find them. I’ll looked under Career and Standard Scenarios - I’ve got one VP73 scenario now appearing in Standard that wasn’t...
I’ll have to look for that. I recall in an Alan Thomson video him pouting out milk bottles appearing on the Bo’ness route, but I read that this...
Or non electric line! I did wonder initially if there was some filtering within TS, as when you select a certain electric trains in QD, the route...
Oops sorry, I didn’t see one was just posted before me. We’ll leave two in, then go back to one. Whoever gets pookey’s posts the next, whoever...
Following on from mention of the 73, I’ve noticed that the 1.5kVDC Class 76 runs quite happily under 25kVAC OHL, and the 73 running in third rail...
Can something not be done to order trains by proper numerical order in the TS menu? Currently it’s ordered purely from left to right, computer...
That makes more sense knowing it was from a pack. I wondered why someone who go to that effort on a hoarding that could only be appreciated...
I can’t argue with that: such is the ‘price of progress’...
Check your laptop key requirements - usually you might have to press another key plus F12.
Have just installed the Northern Lines Electric variant - included a revamped Blackpool station to accomodate AC OHLE and longer Class 390 EMUs....
