I couldn't reproduce this on PC. What platform are you on? Are the signals numbered, and if so can you provide their numbers? From testing this...
DTG are the only people responsible for abandoning steam.
I'm not sure why you seem insistent on blaming the fanbase for DTG's abandonment of steam.
PFR also has a lot of missing services...
Steam's sales are irrelevant to the question of whether DTG have been responsive to complaints.
I wonder why you haven't seen e.g. the complete lack of responses to, for instance, the "Why was steam abandoned?" threads...
Options exist, you know...
I don't think DTG is sensitive to negative feedback at all actually.
No, this is nonsensical. Why would DTG create good steam if bad steam sells?
Firstly, I didn't see anyone demanding those as absolutely necessary. Secondly, "service failure if boiler water level drops too low" does not...
But I believe DTG will work with third-party developers to add new content to the core...
Wanting basic simulation of water and coal, the very foundations of steam locomotives, isn't "expert level"!
IIRC there were no changes to the physics post-PFR.
I've generally found it to be a big mistake to assume anything is universal in the field of railways!
I believe it's the same asset used in the same location in Paddington-Oxford from Rail Simulator, as well.
The problem with the Peak Forest timetable is it's missing a lot of freight and passenger services that travelled over the route in real life!
Which signal is this? Which services are these?
I do wonder if these tests actually measure anything useful...
When you're driving the same route day after day I think you'd be surprised! If your argument is true then no one would go on "autopilot" on...
The purpose of the famous "point and call" system used in Japan is to avoid this.
It's a USB controller that can be plugged in and used with any PC without any additional work required.
You could just search "Zuiki Mascon Switch Controller"...
Blackpool Branches most certainly did come with a 47!
It would be nice to have support for the Zuiki Mascon. It's fairly cheap and as it has 5 power notches and 8 brake notches + an emergency notch it...
Thanks for the bugs, keep them coming! As usual I'm afraid I have to ask for elaboration on some points. Can you elaborate on how they're broken?...
Thanks for the bugs, keep them coming. I do want to ask for clarification on some points: From memory this actually got fixed at some point? Is...
Not necessarily.
Personally I think DTG's focus should rather be on fixing the long list of bugs with old DLC...
Because DTG have released routes in just as poor quality by themselves without the involvement of Rivet!
I think it would take up a lot of programming effort that could be better spent on other things.
And how are they supposed to do that if no "trains with synthesized sounds" are released? How are they supposed to police every single user's...
Well since no one has bothered to explain how the physics are simplified...
Commit to making a serious effort to fixing the massive backlog of bugs - and I'd like to remind everyone in this thread that I'm compiling a list...
Because I'm the only one who's spawned the Clinchfield and Holiday Express F7s next to each other and examined how the brakes behave!
These are exactly the same brake controls as the Clinchfield F7!
And how exactly is the community supposed to indicate that they would approve of inaccurate sounds if accurate sounds were unable to obtain? They...
The community doesn't "allow" anything - that's DTG's decision to make.
He does not.
Citation that AP develops the physics for their locos.
Please provide your citation.
Well for starters I doubt AP developed the physics of the Class 350 they sell, and the true point of comparison should always be the real thing...
Have you actually played the Holiday Express DLC? The F7 did not have simplified physics and was not especially simple to play and operate.
The question then is how all the many, many non-DTG US freight train sim devs do it...
The F7 didn't have simplified physics.
I would be interested to see if the TSW Editor is harder to use than the Unreal Editor... There are constructive conversations happening - but...
[Removed - Alex: Inappropriate]
Well, that's true of any DLC.
Separate names with a comma.
