Some shunting services in existing timetables can have issues where they interact with other services. A service description can provide...
What you are missing here is that Derail Valley's steam simulation already had all the basics included, unlike TSW's. Those are different games...
Count me in for including as much information in the service descriptions as possible. This is especially useful for things like braking and PZB...
It's a lot of work without any recompense, and the culture surrounding payment in the sim community is very different from that in other games.
No one's really delved into what the Public Editor can do with Simugraph, probably because there aren't any tutorials. But I imagine no one's...
Some elaboration would be nice.
What an odd post. You seem to be arguing that the European commuter operations can never be as "immersive" as American freight operations, even if...
Does this have the same issue as Virtual Tracks' previous DLC in that it overwrites the Kuju passengers?
Past experience has shown that DTG discussing something means absolutely nothing in my opinion...
Oh WCL was definitely meant to be a contemporary route with GWR stock - the posters still show a Class 150 in GWR livery.
But they've already made most of it!
Yes, I know they have. When I talked about not seeing signs of progress I was talking about, e.g., shunting services, scenarios, and relevantly...
I had it go to 23" when set to headcode E, which is supposed to be 50% of the train fitted. My main criticism of the pack, though, is that the...
So there will be 385 layers on Fife Circle?
I very much doubt the basic structure of Simugraph is the issue when it comes to steam simulation in TSW. That was my point...
The whole point of Simugraph is that it isn't hardcoded - it's a bunch of modules that can be arranged in any order.
You can check route IDs with Locoswap or TS Tools.
The roadmap also says the 170 will have automatic announcements and "working GSM-R", which I believe is a first.
The thing is aside from IIRC the route and Cargo Pack DLC we haven't seen any progress on any of the things on the roadmap. I think you're...
Remember we've had a form of the new suspension system on the training centre 323 since launch...
They most certainly do not!
...because they were already the sort of people for whom spending $15 on improved track graphics seemed like a financially sound thing to do.
No, I don't think seeing them in person would convince me to spend $15 on graphical improvement to track.
That said, Simrail also aren't the best at keeping people informed on progress... "Mythical" just means "legendary" here.
And of course, you should take that to mean "never".
Personally I wouldn't consider shelling out $15 just to make tracks look better...
Is this a difference between trains? All the time I've passed 1000hz magnets in TSW I've gotten warning sounds.
No, we only have the statements of DTG who are obviously going to spin things a certain way.
Unfortunately TSW has accumulated a truly massive amount of technical debt, and DTG have never shown the slightest inclination of dealing with it.
Things get buried in the noise in a forum. A Trello board would keep outstanding bugs at the front.
I don't think DTG would like to expose the fact that there are many issues, a lot quite severe, that have been around for multiple years!
There isn't a way to make it always substitute the Salzburg Dostos if the player has them?
How do you feel Zusi fails as a simulator?
No, there are unofficial fixes for the cooking issue for the official editor. Look at the editor forum.
But the key question is what form that support will take.
Yes it is, there are fixes for the cooking issue.
I'm happy to report that I've finally found someone who had the signal assets in question. No idea where they originally came from, but here they are:
Is there any English-language summary of the different routes in the game (e.g. time period, location, etc.)? Also, how long does it take for...
I'm fairly certain he didn't upload any signals (at least not on their own) to UKTS.
I don't think it's a matter of different construction, just different training. I'd imagine even if you were driving mainly with the reverser...
I contacted him and he didn't have the assets.
How good is the experience for an English speaker?
Well, we'll see if Simrail can live up to its promises on things like singleplayer content and steam simulation first...
Really? You just release the brake, open the throttle, and go?
And the startup procedures, etc.?
Good documentation is needed for good complexity, and that seems to be lacking in Zusi.
This is completely wrong. All they mandated was that trains be equipped with a system that stopped them if they passed a red signal, and of course...
Frankly I think that's giving too much credit to DTG - "promise a lot, deliver a little" has been their motto since long before the Focus purchase...
