Route: Fife Circle Trains: Class 158, Class 170 [ATTACH]
It should be noted that the only announcements DTG have implemented are generic filler announcements of this nature.
Er no, this is total nonsense. The normal contract for a game voice actor is for them to sign over all rights to their performance.
Well - let's not pretend DTG hasn't also been aware of bugs for years and still not fixed them *coughcough*hudsonlinesnowtextures*coughcough*.
And I'm not saying what you're saying isn't true as well. I am just trying to make it clear that just because DTG does not do something does not...
The law says you can, in a great many circumstances, whether this is because your use of the trademark is justifiable in some way (a clear example...
However, that does not mean that the holder is interested in protecting their old trademarks, or that the holder would actually have a case in...
There have been other legal cases with similar rulings - IIRC there was one in Germany involving toy cars where the toy manufacturer was permitted...
The actual situation is quite a bit more complex and depends on the status of the "brand". Brands are not automatically protected.
That sounds nightmarish for doing stuff like placing static stock.
Anyone know what's going on? Apparently it was delisted two days ago. It still seems to be available on JT's store.
They can be, and again IIRC AP have moved to doing that with newer content.
Hasn't AP stopped overwriting the original files for exactly this reason?
This makes me a bit nervous. Cleaning up the code is all well and good, but it has to be done carefully so old content is not broken.

That your comparison between a game where you only have access to the limited public tools and one where you have access to the private internal...
Except you don't know what Zusi can do without getting core devs involved, because you don't have that level of access. A direct contradiction...
But that's my point. TSW has no freely available dev tools, so judged based on that it's at the bottom. But as he works with DTG - and doesn't...
But that's my entire point. He's saying TSW is so much better, but that's only because he has access to DTG.
No, "how the content gets in" is of the utmost importance when discussing a game's "capabilities". Again, when you have access to the game devs...
As I have said before, you are comparing apples to oranges here. You work with TSW's developers. I presume you do not work with Zusi's developers....
It happened in TSC too - for example London-Peterborough has track laid for the entire Hertford Loop despite the scenery only going up to Bowes Park.
Good for you. Many of us do not feel the same way. I am using the term "third party" to refer to those who release stuff outside of DTG.
As I have stated multiple times, TSW is not giving you anything in replacement for the loss of third-party DLC and free mods.
What do you think he said then?
Er, no you don't. You have it if you own TSW2020 or TSW2. If you only own TSW3, you have to buy it as a separate DLC.
Matt said yesterday that they'd like to include random events but the dispatcher isn't up to it. He did express a hope that the dispatcher...
Didn't you read the first post of this thread?
In my experiience DTG and other train sim companies prefer to just omit names entirely rather than make up fake ones when making unbranded content.
This is a dangerous assumption to make - operating practices can differ massively between countries.
Well, isn't the base route Polish? Are Polish freight trains DOO? I know most European freight trains are.
Singleplayer is confirmed.
I'm fairly certain by default it's C, same as TSC.
I think it's more accurate to say "if DTG gives scenario planner a much needed upgrade". Also, even if you don't create scenarios, you benefit...
Do you have Rhein-Ruhr Osten?
Lionel Richie. The joke is that Richie Rails is a parody of Lionel Trains.
That, by definition, is an admission that they can't or won't put resources into making a good manual. There's no iron law of the universe...
The really annoying part is that TSC solved this problem over a decade ago...
In that case, my response to Matt is that a) this did not stop them making manuals for the four previous TSW3 routes, and b) "we couldn't be...
Separate names with a comma.
