The route lengths are so, because of how long it takes to create it. It would take a very long time to make longer routes.
That is true. There probably are speed signs IRL, but no signaling until closer to Pelham Bay.
You can increase the volume to over 100%, by going to the engine.ini file.

That is BNSF territory, so that won’t happen.
ACSES is for speed limits, ATC is for signaling.

The problem is with ATC, not ACSES.
Except for the tunnels and in Penn Station itself, the other signaling works well. I still use ATC and ACSES.
