Route: Great Western Express Train: Class 37/7 and Class 387 [IMG]
Carmarthen to Swansea in West Wales. Must get around to writing a proper suggestion one day...
Class 37's had a design speed of 90mph. That would have been necessary when they worked Class 1 expresses on the Eastern Region such as Kings...
Today's drag from Ely to Newport (Class 317's for scrap) is timed for 75mph maximum, which I assume is the permitted maximum for a ROG 37....
That requires the Class 37 to be fitted with tightlock couplers, which aren't modelled at present.
I've run the route once in each direction and consider it DTG's best route in ages. If anyone is put off by some of the comments on here, don't be.
For £30, the least DTG could do is invent a time machine, send you to Mainz in 1997 and let you drive the actual trains all day :-)
Hadn't seen that one. Still, not the end of the world.
If a missing indicator light, a questionable skirt and a dodgy river texture is all people have found, I can live with it!

I was doing that just now, but having reported one post, I was told I had to wait (x) seconds before reporting another post as spam.
How, exactly?
Don't worry, it's not another thread about bugs in TSW. If you have access to BBC iPlayer, they have an interesting documentary on the changes in...
My local supermarket sells 247 different types of biscuit. I don't buy one of each.... (but only because I can't stand Custard Creams...)
Class 506 EMU in British Rail Livery. As per my route on your other thread, Classes 304 and 310 would be appropriate here.
Diesel Era: Class 87 & Class 506 Class 506's were confined to the Manchester area. Class 310 worked this route from 1965 to the late 1980's...
I played Great Western Express when it came out on Xbox (Founders Edition?) and it was unplayable so this isn't a dream becoming a nightmare, just...
For me it would be the ability to run the BR era diesels, that only come with freight consists, with Mark 1 and 2 coaching stock. So that's TVL...
The Piccalilli Line would really cut the mustard... Would like to see more London Underground, but preferably a line with fewer tunnels.
The Cotswold line was three loco hauled trains a day back then wasn't it? With extra services provided by a DMU from Oxford to Worcester?
There has been much discussion recently about the lack of new British diesel locomotives in TSW, and the possible lack of enthusiasm for them...
Updates get sent out automatically from time to time, mostly to keep up with stock changes.
I think it (the photo) is taken from round the Landore area. It is a central Wales line service I am sure. Two units, so more likely headed for...
They are working double headed on March 4th, a private charter from Moor Street to Didcot. I don't know if they will be routed via Stourbridge and...
150/1's did work the Cardiff-Birmingham service briefly before the 155's were introduced. I have a picture of one taken at Gloucester. PS, your...
Locomotive Services Limited have restored a Class 47/7 and matching push pull stock and it is running between Edinburgh and Glasgow on February...
[ATTACH] I've been using this for about three years and highly recommend it. Not perfect but it's free and when I had technical issue it was...
I don't see it as squeezing extra profit, more sticking to budget. I would imagine the NYT release is what they feel they can include for the budget.
At the end of the day it's simple Project Management. Each DLC will be treated as a project with resources allocated to it and a budget. When...
Having been in a position of being responsible for a customer facing service which was not of a quality I was comfortable with, at a price point...
And what will blaming them achieve?
How have we got to the point where naming senior members of DTG is deemed appropriate? What is that going to achieve?

May I be the first to complain that Wick to Penzance won't include an extension to Sicily and doesn't come with an Electrostar and Stephenson's...
Route: Birmingham Cross City Locomotive: Class 40 [IMG]
Played it for the first time yesterday and enjoyed it. Sure it's not perfect but it's a perfectly reasonable representation of the route.

Thank you!
Pre-orders are Steam only. Doesn't appear in the store before launch.
Not sure I would want this. For me scenario planner is to chill out and drive any train on any route without worrying about timetables, speeding...
