maybe the answer lies within the RVD files? like, I found stuff like livery ID and friendly name. maybe something there has to be changed aswell?

idk what I have to change but the end result I want is that when I spawn an ICE 3M it will wear the new livery I created instead of the default one

Hello. Quick explanation: I do stuff, create/copy RVD/FRM files, take RVV blueprint classes, set up reskin stuff (for reskin mods), then at some...
seems to work like a charm but the RVDs and the blueprint classes (RVVs) I put in my folder structure disappeared once again :(
